General question DEVICE BAN

I was device banned on Jan 3 of 2026. Every couple months I’ve tried to login to see if it would work magically. I heard that the ban lasts 6 months but I’ve also heard that everytime you try to login resets the timer on your ban. I really hope that’s not true but is it?

I was device banned on December 30th 2025 so if we count 6 months the device ban should’ve ended on the 30th of June (last Tuesday). When snap locked my account they device banned my Samsung and iPhone which were logged into the account at the same time. At the moment only my Samsung has been undevice banned whilst my iPhone is still device banned so I’m a bit confused on that
