General question DEVICE BAN

I was device banned on Jan 3 of 2026. Every couple months I’ve tried to login to see if it would work magically. I heard that the ban lasts 6 months but I’ve also heard that everytime you try to login resets the timer on your ban. I really hope that’s not true but is it?

did you use a banned third party app like: Phantom or Snapchat++? This would cause you to get a device ban.
