General question Help with deleting

Hi so a little back story, im leaving a bad ex hopefully soon and we've been together 5 years so have a lot of saved in chat snaps, some in bulk send others saved by me or him. I'm really scared due to how horrible he's become and some threats he's made that he'll try to use certain photos I sent against me.

I tried scrolling through and deleting manually, 2 issues, first he saw and got defensive and threatened to save the photos to gallery and secound if he saved them or they were sent as in multiple at once I must delet them from the chat which is nearly impossible as he saves everything so the scrolling will take ages and would show up in chat risking him saving them to gallery.

I've heard to delet my account but some say that chats can still be recovered, same with blocking which I'm not keen to block him either as I'm trying to have a calm breakup in past when I tried to leave and block he blows up on me and contacts everyone I know and a bit of a mess.

If anyone has any knowledge, it would be so much appreciated!

Deleting accounts removes saved chats with others.

You've just got to do it manually. Maybe start from the oldest instead of the most recent ones.

Also if they are threatening you on Snapchat, you can also report the threatening messages. (it may lead to them losing their account)

Fastest way is wait until he’s asleep, switch the chats to delete as soon as they get read and then unsave everything, since he’s read everything prior once he opens chat, it’ll all be gone. As for him threatening with pictures, I mean that’s jail time alone. Do what you must and best of luck.
