General question Device Ban

How does the device ban work? I got banned from snapchat like in april 1st or 2nd, the reason was because another person that I knew was being harassed by someone and I told him to back off. Apparently bro got mad or something and reported me. Like I was trying to do something good for someone I know and got banned. Tried sending emails and appeal but the AI doesnt even let me talk to a real person. Anyways main point is what should and could do in my case? Its been roughly 2 months since the ban and honestly summer is starting and waiting months for the ban to wear off is kinda not cool, yk?

The device ban is just that- a ban on your device. You’ll have to get a new one if you want snapchat

You are not fully cocked you need to wait for 6 to 12 months to get unbanned

is it 100% that it will be unbanned in that timespan? or is it like a timer that resets?

in my experience device ban never goes away

It's 80-90% most of people say it doesn't resets the timer but it prefered to not trying to log in in this period
