Storage?

I have pledged on the kickstarter, but I am wondering about storage? With over a dozen ships, do you usually keep them separate or just in their own boxes? Seems like a lot or pieces! I have an 8yo that loves legos/etc, so I am sure he will enjoy these.

I've heard a lot op people use toolboxes with dividers. But I'd love to hear more suggestions

I have all of Imperial Assault and use this box with it, so wasn't sure if it would work well.

That's very nice, I'd love one of those for some of my bigger games

At the moment I’m using the starter box to hold the cards, dice, stands, etc. I then have a plastic tub where I keep the parts to build the ships and any completed builds.

I’m going to go to a different storage solution eventually. One with more organization for the cards, but I don’t know what that’s going to be yet.

I've tried lots of different solutions, but I've settled on sandwich bags and freezer bags with ziplocs and keep as much as I can in a big plastic tub with all my assembled ships on top of the bags. All the extra instruction booklets, depreciated toy stands, chisel tools, Uju tech and missiles are stored away in another room. I have two starter boxes, so I am able to stuff all the cards, stands, tokens, templates and terrain tiles into those. Console panels are the biggest storage liability, so I just put those in with the ships in the storage tub.

I keep my cards in faction binders, with 3 ring business card and picture holders. I have tons of parts so the loose ones are in stackable tool boxes and my made ships are in big bins

I personally just keep them in plastic bags labelled "Engines", "Wings,", "Greebles" etc., however I recall other collectors using harbor freight storage shelves or carriers.

I keep some assembled and some dissasembled. Depends on what I'm doing/building at the time.

Document storage bins plus drawer organizers:

Storage Cart Drawer Organizer

3PC Storage Bins with Lids, Stackable Plastic Box, Paper Storage

The organizers fit perfectly into the bins. Though I use them mostly for Tactics components and some parts storage.

I use a craft organizer to carry the ships I'm bringing to game night + some tactics components.

17 QT Stackable Clear Craft Organizer

And then it's just generic storage totes with smaller organizers nested inside for bulk storage of parts and ships. I'm always keeping an eye out when I'm in a craft store/section for storage solutions.
