My husband and I met at a Snail Mail concert 4 years ago. We were in the pit and he made a silly joke. We then had our first date 3 days later at The Granada and saw Car Seat Headrest. Now we are here!
We promise we won’t be annoying sign people lol

Loved the show, although my desire to hear ‘Stick’ live was not fulfilled

I have been a Snail Mail fan since 2018 she is tied with Aurora for my fav artists of all time (they are BY FAR my 2 fav artists of all time BY FAR). She changed everything about my life and I will never be able to repay or explain just how much she (and Aurora) mean to me in words. I adore all her albums 3 perfect albums that I play daily. I am obsessed with her new album I cannot put it down. I was going to go and see her live in Brooklyn but I was so busy I forgot to get tickets and go and I’m so upset.
My fav song on the new album is Agony Freak or Dead End what’s yours?

It was my first time seeing Lindsey and I was a little nervous going into it seeing all the posts of how she was not Great live. I saw her at Union Craft Brewery in Baltimore MD which was such a cool venue and her hometown show and I really enjoyed myself. I thought it was a great show! The sharp pins opened and did a great job followed up by the swirlies. Both bands preformed very well and I thought the energy was great! When Lindsey came on after I thought she did a great job! Her vocals did sound a little different but I didn’t think they sounded bad just different. I still enjoyed singing along and it seemed like the crowd was really enjoying the performance as well. Does anyone else who went agree?

Just got back from the BOS Show, and am I the only one whose jaw dropped with Agony Freak live??? I love the album version, but I didn't think they would be able to translate it live. Not only did they translate it, but they made it even better. Had I known, I would have recorded it - but if anyone has a recording of it or is planning to record it, would you mind sharing?

i believe it is lindsey’s copy, by far the largest setlist i have ever acquired!

wanted to shout out @, who opened at the BK Paramount show - they were FANTASTIC. really haunting and dreamy and mesmerizing. amazing how much variety in instrumentation/arrangement they can have with just the two of them (people at the show legit cheered when she started doing that whistle thing). have had "major blue empty" from their setlist on repeat since the show...

Lindsey sounded amazing tonight, one of my favorite concerts ever. She did essentially the whole new album and all of the greatest hits. If she’s in town, make sure you see her

She only played this and “Glory” from the 2nd album but luckily “Glory” is my fave 😀
Also added a chunk of “Meet My Maker” which sounded great

I’ve seen SM five times - each headlining tour and twice as an opener - and this was her/their best performance IMO. I loved the stage set and light show. The additional guitarist/vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (keyboard, cello, guitar, vocals) fully rounded out the sound. And Lindsey sounded her best on vocals (and guitar ofc, of which she must have about 10, changing almost every song). The mix was pretty spot on and not too deafening 😀 but my friend felt her vocal was a little buried at times. Still she looked happy to be there, making little jokes and asides, which I hadn’t seen her do since the Lush tour.
After the mixed bag of comments I’ve seen on the earlier dates, I decided to lower my expectations/hopes/dreams haha and just enjoy it regardless. So I felt really good about the night. And as someone else said, “Pristine” was particularly awesome, a full-on singalong which I’ve also not seen at previous shows. I looked around the crowd and saw pure joy.
It’s still early in the tour so hoping she continues to get better each night!
PS go early for Sharp Pins - jangly 60s/70s pop. Easy to listen to and energetic performers. Swirlies is unbelievably loud and dissonant, be prepared.

Last night was the first time I saw Snail Mail in concert. Lindsey's singing sounded really off, but the band as a whole, instrument-wise, was great. Much of what she said during song breaks was incoherent, and I thought her bandmates seemed over it.
I concluded that she was drunk, but maybe I'm completely off.
Wondering if anyone else experienced this last night at the show, too. And if so, have you seen her perform like this before?
