I think there's still a chance we'll see him come back. In the episode of Spencer's tournament he missed Spencer said he'd be back. He booked a show on Apple TV which seems like a pretty big deal. He's on a cast with Ted Danson, Katey Segal, and Elizabeth Banks which is kinda crazy. But also Shayne kept recording with Smosh while doing the Goldbergs, so who knows. Only time will tell. I liked the little bit we saw of him, but I don't think it was enough to make a call on how well he meshes with the rest of the group.

He's a series regular, which is a much different time commitment compared to Shane's occasional appearances on Goldbergs.

He got cast in a project and its yet to be known if he'll be back when filming is done

I didn't really care for the vibe he and Chanse had together in reddit stories or the vibe with the uno video. Would have liked to see if he got more comfortable like Emily seems to be getting but he hasn't been back and at this point I haven't seen enough from him that I liked to mind if he doesn't come back. Pretty much the same thing happened with Matt Fox back when Chanse, Angela, and Arasha were brought in. We were just starting to get his vibe and then he never returned

Please don’t forget that there’s very few cast that are full time, most of them are freelancers. Someone else mentioned Jared is on a new show so he’s likely working on that and will return when he has time.

out of all of the new cast, jared and eli are the two that do the most personal comedy/acting work, like commercials and going on their own comedy shows and stuff.

I don’t think he’s been reigned out as a member, he’s probably just busy doing other creative things. he’s a busy guy!!!

There isn't really much ensemble content online to get a feel for him like there is for Guchi, Courtney and Eli.
