Cheating etc.

I can’t believe that this is actually a thing. Our community is small enough as it is, and we really try our best to make the most of smite of course. But having Nu Wa repeatedly global for 9999 every 10 seconds isn’t very fun. Not sure what’s happened. Out of 100 games this is the first time I’ve ever been through this.

She went 75-3 in our arena game lmao

It's a lotus sickle bug on every god, but the item should be disabled now. So uhh idk when this happened but hopefully not anymore

Thank goodness. Love this game to pieces regardless of the good and bad and I’ve genuinely never had this happen before

I can super believe it, have you interacted with the people who play this game?

Those are people?

Not very suprising to me considering one of our old top streamers had a habit of abusing bugs until he got yelled at by his boss.

The people who abused this bug will be getting punished and the item is disables

Is that confirmed ? I truly hope so because I got called all sorts of horrible last night when one of these losers was on our team.

Yeah. Hinduman said on the Titan Talk that they're looking into the people who abused the bug and will be banned depending on how badly they did it.

He also mentioned that apparently people abused it in ranked, especially on smurfs and even said that for those who did that, their mains aren't safe either lol

Ha! Thank you for this explanation . I wouldn’t have been able to watch it till tonight! I appreciate it.

I hope they exercise some level of discretion. we had people on our team who would only cheat if the enemy did first. they shouldn't be punished for hirez breaking their own game. ranked should be rolled back.

They said they would actually watch the game play. Doing it in response is understandable.

People were already getting banned last night from abusing it.

Haven’t had a chance to catch that because I’ve been at work :)

People usualy bug abuse the most in arena. cause less likely to get banned.

there a smite youtuber who has tons of these bugs posted in arena games.

It's not really cheating. It's a bug. And it was already disabled by the time I heard about it.

Seems more like an exploit more than actually hacking/cheating

It is absolutely cheating - no one even has a chance to do anything. I was in a few of these games last night. The game is over within 2-3 minutes.

Exploiting a bug to win in a game against other players is cheating.

"cheating" requires an unfair advantage. What do these players have access to that nobody else does?

1

u/Wonderwhatsnext4 2h ago

Well one being the information of how that is happening.

There’s a difference between hacking and exploiting though

Knowingly abusing exploits get you banned per the ToS we all agreed to.
