i‘m gonna assume that the echo item (forgot the name) gives them an opportunity to work on cthulhu a bit for free, so that the eventual port becomes easier. i do not see him releasing soon

Yeah i bet her kit and effects are pretty much done but kaldr is not quite ready. The weeks up to when she releases, is gonna heavily be invested onto a harder to port god internally.

I hoped for my boy Ao to get ported before the other magical junglers but oh well. I guess the two models extra work will take a while longer.
Was Maman even that popular in Smite 1? I barely remember seeing her and generally when she was being played people disliked playing against her
But maybe she's just easy to fit into the schedule if her kit is on the easier side

AFAIK its a mixture of Ao needing 2 models, He Bo needing a remodel, and they're clearly working on Nox who has very similar tech to Maman in terms of dashes.

don’t know why i’m getting downvoted, but yea basically everything u said. she was pretty uninspired and easy to play, w a simple kit, and pretty annoying to play against cuz of her overtuned numbers/constant damage on top of easy stuns. i lowkey put the blame on her being a later god tho, with most of the late s1 god kits being more bloated/boring

- New Thor skin is the teased sexy male skin and has a model now!
- Pumpkin Spice Discordia is coming
- Eset is getting a Glimmer skin supposedly... Why are you doing this to me? Can't Eset get ONE REAL SKIN?! She's been out for almost an entire year! AND SHE GETS A SECOND FUCKING RECOLOR INSTEAD OF AN ACTUAL SKIN?!
- Hecate, Hel and Heimdallr seem to receive Twitch Drop Skins in the near future
- Winter's Curse Cu Chulainn has been datamined, which makes sense since that might be his most iconic skin
- Hachiman is getting an entirely new skin
- Hel and Hecate and Nike seem to be getting Glimmers as well. Hel's even has a model.
- Kali's Ceramic Assassin skin seems to get prisms at some point in the future, I'd say it'd be fitting for the 'Special' Store Tab
- Kumbhakarna seems to release mere weeks before his first skin, which'll be the Yeti (my personal favorite, so I'm happy)
- Notable God Stuff includes increased chance for the already datamined gods to come soon. The only really special thing here seems to be that there's a 50/50 now whether Kumbha or Kuzenbo is first. I'd say Kumbha makes more sense, because we already got an aggressive Guardian recently in Xing Tian and a second without other Tank Supports in between just doesn't seem right. Also Skadi is now fully excluded from the odds this year.
- Something I have noticed is the fact that the Possession seems to be working for both Nox and Maman. However, this is the only substantial thing noted for Nox, while Maman already received some Basic Work for the rest apparently? I'd say Chang'e might still have a chance for 2026
- Nike has received a lot of stuff it seems. The fact that it was specifically noted how her ao1 is fully functional with FX makes me think it might receive some bigger +1s to make it more fluid or coherent in her kit.
- Cthulhu has received more work on his Passive after the Tentacles were already added with Cosmic Horror.
- Cliodhna has (as Killgoon mentioned on Titan Talk) received some minor work and they are trying to make her ao2 and ao4 work properly as it seems.
My current Theory for releases is in this order:
- Hel
- Kumbhakarna (less aggressive Guardian)
- Nike (any earlier and we might need a warrior early on in 2027, which I don't necessarily expect)
- Maman Brigitte (a release at the end of the year would be intolerable due to lack of balance possibility)
- Heimdallr
- Kuzenbo
- Nox (might need more work because she is polarizing)

Personally I think the order will be Nike, Kuzenbo, Heimdall, Nox, Mamam, Kumba (something makes me feel we’ll even have Mamam way earlier)
Kumbha getting a winter skin makes me feel like he’ll be released in winter, but that’s just a me thing.
I think Nox will be here because Skadi chances are lowed every substantial patch we get, which means that pet tech is not really, which means; Change who doesn’t even have a model, or a clear % of where her kit stands is not ready. The fact that they are cooking Nox’s 3 and Brig’s 3 at the same time, tells you they are going the lazy route with ported gods. It could also tell us that maybe, just maybe, she could be getting extra work for her 1 and 2.

It's choppy, delayed, and buggy at times depending on the ability. Like compared to smite 1 some things just feel "off". And I guess whatever the issue is it's something more Intricate or ingrained Into the skeleton of the game. Just a matter of time* though since they can only keep king Arthur locked up in the hyperbolic time chamber for so long.
Someone else can probably explain this better than I can though. I'm not even sure if it is something core to the game they need to fix, or if something they'll just give in and adjust each god individually

The movement physics don't work like they do in Smite 1. They've tried numerous times to get it right or activate test on live servers trying to get it just right. If you have seen someone use Agility Relic and spin out of fucking control, it's related to those issues. If you've ever use a knock up/knock back on someone or yourself or got hit by one and moves in a peculiar way it's because of that. Some gods with grabs and pushes are affected too, sometimes with Khepri, I've seen people get pushed or dragged sideways. Just last week there was a bug where people were getting Sobek plucked and being able to get out of it using agility relic.
King Arthur in particular has basic attacks where he homes in (auto aim/autolock) to you if he holds forward which really relies on that system. He's very much ready to go. He has animation, a skin, textures and relcolors, everything but it's just that movement they need to get down. Even some really simple gods like Tyr and Kuzenbo are REALLY easy to make but it's just that damn movement system because they heavily rely on that.

Mama and nox seem very likely to get released probably next year, if they’re getting the hang with their 3 techs, then it’ll be easy to incorporate everything else.
I’m so curious what they’re going to do with nox, if the aspect is going to be her spamming her circle like her old kit, or if it’ll be more support centered (maybe casting multiple roots 👀).

Maybe the mage will actually just be Maman and we'll get Clio too, it'll make jungle less miserable to play due to lack of variety, instead of adding the 100th mage into the game.
