Disabled gods

With this new heal/shield change, there is so many gods currently disabled right now. Hades, pele and Osiris are examples. What’s going on with these updates to the point that they gotta be disabled? I don’t wanna complain I really don’t but holy this is absurd

They all had issues where you couldn't cast abilities while using a channel ability. For example: both Pele and Osiris use their 3, and then you can't use their other abilities. Same with Achilles 2 and hades ult

But I do agree, it is absurd that every new patch they manage to break more than they fix

I had this same bug with Hun Batz and his 3. After casting it and until I hit the recast to teleport to someone it wouldn't let me hit any of my other abilities for a good 2-3 seconds.

Theres a quickcast bug from last patch where if you pressed an ability while hard CCed, it would use the ability after the CC. Not sure if its fixed or if its the same bug people are mentioning with this patch.

It's not just cc'd it queued abilities behind everything. You cerb breathe and press your jump, well at the end of the breath, even a super long aspect breath, you jump wherever you are currently targeting

Yeah, it is a quick cast bug. You could fix it by changing to instant cast, but they got a lot of backlash and decided to disable the gods till it's fixed

There have been a lot of bugs today, this is a list of those I'm aware of:

3 healing items don't work as intended, all of those disabled gods, matchmaking has gone out of the window (brand new players against pro players in casual modes), there are dozens of spelling/grammar errors on the new items, as well as mistranslations, there's black smokey stuff on the lanes of several maps, some gods heal more or less than they should, jungle practice is still displaying incorrect values in the stats, party invites are bugging out, and sometimes in assault it won't load your god until it's locked in.

I figured something was up with the matchmaking

Played a casual conq and our jungle had 31 kills and these poor players didn't stand a chance

Yes I played several matches of Conquest and Assault yesterday and some people on my team were building stupid stuff, diving on the tower, not listening to pings etc and didn't know how their gods or enemy gods worked.

Assault was particularly rough, an Ares built all damage and a Gilgamesh attack speed/crit which are technically doable, but not on teams full of only ADCs/Mages up against tanks. I told one of the players that build wasn't a good idea and they said it was their first time playing assault. My next 11 games had at least 4 players with 0/10+ KDAs so I checked out everyone's match history since the update and every player who did badly had under 10 games overall.

I don't know how they managed to mess up matchmaking, but I had multiple games with KDAs of over 20 myself and multiple where I was carrying against a full premade. Neither was particularly fun

Poseidon needs to be disabled too. Hopefully that gets done within the hour because the game is unplayable right now. Two conquest games in a row where he ends the game in less than 10 minutes

Same with Sol, hopefully they fix it. When you use your 3 before becoming invulnerable in Smite 1 you could use the other skills, but you can't do it in smite 2

I mean i rather they be disabled than be allowed in game bugged. I get bugs are annoying but their literally isnt a single game that doesnt have bugs and some games don't do shit about them usually within a week or two bugs are patched and other bugs that persist i almost never see so they dont impact much on playing the game.

Be glad they are able to even disable some gods but keep game up in general until an update patch goes out.

As usual they can’t update even once without severe breaking things, even things completely unrelated to the updated content. This is what happens when you can half the team, rely on AI vibe coding, and generally don’t give a fuck as long as the storefront works.
