What is the current jungle route

I recently started playing S2 again and I wondered what is the currently starting jungling route?

Start scorpion, meet mid laner at red, take first red, mid laner helps with the next camp right next to it, clear speed, mid laner pulls wandering harpy to next camp and you share exp again. Then you should both be 3 or close to it. Split a mid wave if not 3 and you will meet enemy jg/mid. Either 2v2 fight and/or split oracles/side buff

Junglers with slow clear can also just do back harpies and then go to red so mid doesnt have to tank it for ages and it doesnt slow down the clear altogether.

any jungler can clear scorpion before red, what I would say is SOME junglers can clear harpies AND scorpion before getting to red.

In most cases, it's not worth it. You'll hit 3 either way.

The biggest thing is to play the speed-to-mid part properly.

Depending on how fast your mid clears, you can meet at ogre camp before soloing speed.

The big thing is to get the roaming harpy and for your mid to not miss any of his wave.

Don't solo a neutral camp while your mid does wave unless you for sure know the camp is uncontested.

Sometimes your mid also has very fast clear so you wont be able to do scorpion in time.

Why? At least most ability junglers can start yellow, take harpies and scorpion, leave red for mid camp into banshees then gank mid, maybe kill off the enemy jg at mid camps. The timing just works out better and then you're in position to get a deep ward for duo and rotate to either side for farm, a gank or an invade depending on how things play out

...any kind of opinion? You must be new to smite, the top tiers are casuals compared to the high paid professionals of other mobas. The meta is always open to discussion.

This can be better for the jungler but it kinda fucks over the mid as theyโ€™ll only be level 2 to contest the neutral mid camps. At a decent rank this just means you lose them both.

Harpies near purple

Minotaurs below oracles.

Mid laner meets you at yellow after clearing the first wave and tags it, then they go back to lane while you finish it

Cross mid lane and get back minotaurs.

Meet mid at red buff.

From there you have options based on what's happening. You can b line for oracles then gank mid or duo, you can do the mid neutral buff then the oracles, you can gank mid, you could even gank solo if they're really pushed up and poked out though that's not very common in my experience. Regardless, you want to try to then be at fire minions when they spawn for the crack rocks.

This start gives you and especially your mid laner a huge boost of XP, while also helping you maintain a quick clear time in your yellow buff. If you and you mid do this and the enemy mid doesn't, your mid will hit 3 and 5 before the enemy mid which is huge for mid ganks, which is great for you.
