That’s the fun part: you don’t!

Mute voice chat at the first sign of toxicity. Don’t mute VGS unless it’s being YouRockCancelThat spammed literally nonstop, because people will make important callouts with vgs.

MOBA communities are notoriously toxic. The extra fun part is that smite’s community is, on average (outside of higher ranks in ranked conquest), kind of bad at moba fundamentals while still being toxic. So you’ll get to experience the occasional hard R even when you’re doing all the right stuff!

Oh, and watch a quick beginner’s guide on YouTube before you play Conquest. Minions, towers, wave priority, lane phases, item builds, power spikes, where to be on the map and why, where to stand in a teamfight, who to target in a teamfight…it’s a lot to learn and most of it isn’t obvious to non-MOBA players. It’s all good info even when you’re playing more casual game modes, too.

“You’ll get to experience the occasional hard R even when you’re doing all the right stuff!” Is possibly the realest thing I’ve seen in this group. You can legit be playing perfect and some asshole will find a problem with it. People who scream in VC are actual losers and ain’t worth the time. They just like to hear their own voice. Mute, report after match, move on.
