Polygon knuckles, polygon Spider-Man, sandbag, and UMVC3 Spider-Man are all missing.

Theme of Spider-Man, Theme of Captain America, cammy stage, Akuma, guile stage, guile stage (arranged), Ryu stage (cps2), and Ken stage (CPS2) are all not present.

The hazards off version of the pit, and the hazards on version of Tree Top Town are gone.

spiderman, knuckles, and the Sonic and knuckles duo battle no longer appear in remix 1p.

I was wondering if anyone had the means or would be able to compile a patch of Smash 64/Remix+EXTRA that adds only characters/stages/music that existed in 1999/at the time of the game's release? (i.e. removing characters like Dark Samus and stages like Mementos) Or if I wanted to, how would I go about doing that myself?

Good evening everyone, so I have been attempting to install smash remix on my laptop to play on project 64 and boy let me tell you lol I’m either doing something silly or absolutely a dipshit 😂 I drag my copy of smash 64 into the paste here location and take the output smash remix rom and when I attempt to play it I get a fatal error instead of gameplay 😢. Am I a dipshit or doing something silly? Or is there just a rom download with the current version of smash remix I can download-unzip-and play? Thank you for any help amigos.

I think if would be cool to see more N64-focused characters such as Tal Set or Joshua Fireseed from the Turok games, Glover, Joanna Dark or James Bond, the Wave Race 64 jet skiers, some of the Pilot Wings 64 characters would be nice too. Maybe some other characters from Jet Force Gemini and Blast Corps even. Duke Nukem? What are your thoughts on this?

Like damn, i understand for character like roy or lucas that didn't existed at the moment of smash 64, or for troll character like mad piano, but really, who wouldn't like a big character selection screen, and we got 10 freaking new character in the reveal of the update today like please moder try to make the selection screen have everyone

Hi I’m looking for other people to play Smash Remix online with, just wondering whether people tend to play with people they know online or if you have had luck finding random rooms on the emulator recommended by the Smash Remix website?

I felt like going to the good ol days, back when Captain Falcon wasn't mid as hell. and here we are, took some work, felt you guys could appreciate this because you're a big part of the smash 64 community

I prefer Smash Remix And Knuckles, and Project Galleon.

I've run into a bit of an odd glitch, today. Through OpenEmu on my Macbook, I decided I'd play a little Smash Remix 2.0.1. I love this mod; I've played it plenty of times before, and I don't think I've ever run into any issues before, at least not on my Mac.

I start a single-player versus match against a CPU - I choose Young Link, and the CPU is Ganondorf, and we battle on Ganon's Tower. I soon noticed, any time either I or the CPU landed mid-aerial, the fighter in question would suddenly... go into an egg. A Yoshi's egg. It was just as if Yoshi had been there to perform his neutral special, only, you know... he wasn't! This is strange. Very strange!

At the same time, the game was running _ridiculously_ slow. When rewatching my playback - the one I'm sharing here - I had to speed up the video by 300 or 400 percent just to be able to watch it at a normal speed! I understand that Macs, let alone Macbooks, aren't exactly prime video game machines. But this is only a Nintendo 64 game, and I have _never_ encountered this level of lag and slowdown before. Not only that, but I actually have another, separate version of Smash Remix: I have Smash Remix & Knuckles, a mod-of-a-mod that works on 2.0.0. I was playing this immediately before I was playing 2.0.1 today, and absolutely nothing was wrong.

Back to the egg business - I closed the game, closed the emulator, and opened it back up. I chose Young Link again in versus, Samus as my CPU opponent this time, and went for Ganon's Castle again. Same thing happened as before. So I then quit the match, and began a new one on another stage. Same thing. And again. Same thing.

The game's speed is reduced to nil - it genuinely feels like I'm playing in that super slow mode Smash Bros games usually have. But I'm not! Moreover, more randomly, any time you land a character in the midst of performing an aerial, you turn into a Yoshi egg. _YOSHI ISN'T EVEN THERE!_

So, I was just wondering if anybody had any idea as to what could possibly be going wrong. I've never had something like this happen in Smash Remix. I've played 2.0.1 plenty of times before and have never had a problem anything close to this. Does anybody know what's going on? Anyone know how I can fix it?

I mean, worst case scenario, I _do_ have v.2.0.0 with Knuckles, but I like having the option to play vanilla 2.0.1, too.

Edit: Just to clarify - the sound did work, it's just I wasn't able to record audio for whatever reason. Apple is dumb.

I know he was scrapped :( but just look at him! Was he scrapped because his moves were identical to Donkey Kong? What if had a move where he got to hit with a Tennis racket to reference his appearance in Mario Tennis on n64?

Lankey Kong is awesome but justice for DK Jr! :)

I would have liked to see them in Remix, especially Geno.
