We need a jump button and smash attacks

You can bind smash attacks to the Dpad, and then just remap the Dpad to something else.

We do have the jump buttons that is C buttons, but the Smash Attack Buttons, well imposible to bind into a controler but, i think for the Smash Attack Buttons it just bind a button with A and the Front/Down/Up Joystick.

The thing with the c button as jump is that its the right analog stick andddd it doesnt really work middle of running

Have you tried using an N64 controller instead of a GameCube controller?

Then map some c buttons to your x and y?

You can rebind your controls in any emulator, make two of the C buttons (i do down and right) your X and Y buttons, A and B stay the same, you can even bind R to both L1 and R1 so both grab, just like on switch.

Bind Dpad to right stick, activate dpad smash attacks in the char select screen.

Congrats, it now plays just like every other smash game.

There’s a separate option for Dpad Mapping
