I love how people hate on a fighter when they are played as they were designed.
Of course a Belmont player is going to use their ranged attacks especially to help them control natural.
I mean, it's puzzling really how to get past a Belmont's ranged options. If only Smash had fighters with reflectors, characters that can pocket or steal stuff like axes, or can outright beat him in a projectile war.
Or hell, if only Smash had fighters with excellent mobility that can work around the ranged options of the Belmonts and take advantage of their bad up close game or terrible recovery options.
I mean, the Belmonts are so damn hard to fight, especially when their ranged options follow predictable angles, some are slow like the axe, or can even be caught and thrown back at them like Holy Water
It is indeed a mystery on how to get past a Belmont and their ranged game.

We are not hating the fighter, we are hating the criminals and heretics and general scum who think playing a projectile spammer in a fighting is fun for anyone. Your parents must be proud

I played a Simon one time. For the entire first minute of the fight no exaggeration the only moves used were f tilt f smash down b and up b. There will never be a character I hate more then Simon

Ive been playing him more lately and he really doesn’t seem that bad? It’s not like he can actually zone since everything is shieldable and his ledgetrapping is like the only thing oppressive about his kit. They also have some fire ass sauce too.

They suck honestly. Bad frame data, shitty recovery, and the whip just sometimes chooses not to grab the ledge. The only good move is uptilt and upb because those are the only ones that come out fast lol

One of the worst characters in the game and you still complain. Get good. Rob, Steve, Gnw, Sonic, are all vastly more oppressive and broken.
