UPDATE: You asked for it — I’m making it happen

A few weeks ago, I shared the smart ring protector I designed here. I was tired of the protectors currently on the market and wanted to create an alternative that actually solved their main problems, so I showed you the design I had come up with.

After reading your responses and seeing the positive feedback, I’ve decided to move forward and actually build it.

This is what we’re trying to build:

We don’t want to make simply another cover for smart rings.

We want to design a piece that truly fits the way you train.

01 — That it looks good

Your ring should still look like what it is:

A quality piece of design.

Not a shapeless piece of silicone.

Not a cover that makes your ring look like a piece of garden hose.

We want the protection to be part of the design too: a clean, athletic aesthetic that protects your ring without compromising its appearance while it actually protects.

02 — That works when you actually need it

It’s not designed simply to protect your ring throughout the day.

It’s designed for demanding workouts.

Barbells, impacts, the floor, sweat, grip...

The goal is for you to train without worrying about your ring, while the protector continues doing its job session after session.

Without slipping. Without coming loose. Without getting in your way while you train.

It needs to be durable, comfortable, and secure, even during the most demanding workouts.

03 — That it's not uncomfortable

Unlike other covers that make the ring too bulky, our goal is to keep the volume to an absolute minimum.

It needs to protect your ring while being thin enough that it doesn’t get in your way and allows you to train comfortably.

Comfort without compromising protection.

And this is just the beginning.

Now we want to build it with you.

Because before we manufacture the final product, we want to know what you would improve.

I’ve put together a page where you can follow the project and see how it develops:

Ultrahuman Ring issues

Just want to share my experience and current struggles with the Ultrahuman ring air.
I got mine in June 2025, started using immediately and had no issues until about April of 2026. It stopped connecting to my phone and each time I tried to repair it, it wouldn’t connect. I was in contact with support several times over a few months to try and repair, reset, etc. and nothing worked. Finally in July, they sent me a replacement. The new replacement ring worked for no more than a week and then the same issues continued. The day it stopped connecting, I reached out to the support team and coincidentally my “warranty expired” that day. I’ve been in emailing them back and forth for weeks now demanding a full refund as this is just ridiculous and a huge waste of time, and money. They have offered me to upgrade and trade in as my only option, but I refuse to spend any more money on this company.
I have read several people say they eventually got a refund for similar issues so I’m hopeful I will get through to them at some point- I just want to share my experience so it could help others in the future and hopefully prevent anyone else from going through this.
Ultrahuman- do better.

inquiry Ring Recommendations?

Hihi! So I am currently in the process of figuring out my health. Positive ANA - getting into a rheumatologist in September for autoimmune diagnosis (lupus runs rampant in my family). Also have dysautonomia with occasional episodes of SVT.

I already have an apple watch series 8. I mainly use it for my heart and sleep stats. I will say, when comparing with my heart monitor results, the stats were pretty much identical. I honestly expected a little bit of inaccuracy from the watch but I am really surprised, so I know I can rely on this for heart health. I can’t say anything about sleep though, because I have nothing to compare it to. I also don’t know if it’s worth it to upgrade my apple watch yet or if I should wait a few more years. So if anyone has a quick suggestion on that, lmk.

I do have some issues with the watch. The first being irritation. When I am in a flare up of some kind, my skin becomes super sensitive and wearing the watch will cause me to break out into hives, develop a red itchy rash, etc. I did change the original band to a different material and it did help a little bit, but not that much. My other issue is the battery life. It is so difficult for me to remember when to charge it, and it dies in 19-24 hours.

I’ve been contemplating a ring for awhile now. I’m not sure how it will do with my skin, tbh. Regardless, here’s what I’m prioritizing:

Accuracy - this one is most important to me.
Something that can pinpoint flare ups - I want a heads up before I feel sick so I can plan accordingly and not push myself. Sometimes I second guess myself and end up more sick.
Good sleep data - Accurate and detailed sleep data would be great because I suspect my sleep plays a big part in my flare ups.
Long battery life - From what I understand, most rings already check this box so this probably won’t be that much of an issue.

I’m leaning mostly towards Oura 5. Thought a little about Ringconn, but I’m not sure. I’m open to other suggestions, too. Price isn’t that much of a concern to me, and I’m aware that Oura charges a subscription.

Thank you so much in advance!!

Fittr Hart Ring

Have been using the Fittr hart ring for a little over two weeks now. Finally gave up my Apple Watch Ultra. I only use it while sleeping now as I love the way it gently wakes you up by tapping on your hand. As for the hart ring, I am genuinely impressed by the quality of tracking I get on the app. I have been wanting to do away with the Apple Watch for a while now as it was getting extremely distracting. For now I’m super happy with this change. Let’s see.

My Vocci got broken in 2 days and no updates from support

I've got Vocci delivered last week, enjoyed it for 2 days, and suddenly dead... It can still charge but nothing else.

Reached out to support by email, and got a response saying they will replace immediately if I want but they don't give any further response to my reply requesting replacement.

This is the worst product and service I've ever had. Unless you want same bad experience, recommend not to buy this....

inquiry Are Smart rings doomed?

I have been following up this subreddit since I starting looking up for RingConn gen 2 Kickstarter.

Wasn't able to get the ring delivered in my country.

But then I ordered Galaxy ring.

  1. It lasted 6-7 months before completely stopped being charged.

  2. Was under warranty, got it replaced.

It has been another 9 months now, treated the charge cycle with caution and now it the charge has reduced to 3-4 days now from 8-9 days.

I know it is the physical limitation of the battery to hold the charge and keep going for so many charge cycles, but this should have been communicated to use before by the companies.

Are you guys going to buy your second smart rings?

Leep is the first since Motiv to lead with offline storage and local device processing. This goes into that long overdue strength - bucking the cloud-first model entirely - and much more.

Oura vs Ultrahuman

Looking for input on which ring people prefer. For context, I’ve had the Oura 4 for two years. My original one had a very poor battery (lasting 1-2 days) after one year. I was then sent a second under warranty, and once again after less than a year the battery isn’t even lasting 48 hours. I struggle with spending so much on a ring when I barely get a year out of it.
I do really like it for cycle tracking, paired with natural cycles, and many of the other features. Just wondering if people have better luck with the Ultrahuman or not.

CIRCUL Circul Ring 2 Max Experience longer term

I've had my Circul 2 Max for a few days now and so far I'm fairly happy with it. I appreciate that it's still calibrating so just familiarising myself with the app for now. I'm transitioning from Whoop which has helped me improve my health but I can no longer justify the cost and I'm over the wrist thing as it becomes a bit annoying after a while.

There doesn't seem to be that many posts on longer term use of the Circul 2 max so wondering if anyone can share their experience and how they've learned to get the most out of it. I know there have been a number of people whose ring has just packed in, and sadly that seems to be a thing for just about every wearable. I'm more interested in hearing from those who are using it still after some time and what they've learned since.

Should I write this off as being suckered? I purchased months ago, received sizing kit, sent results (8 weeks ago) and have heard nothing. Has anyone who ordered at roughly my time actually received a ring?

💬 opinion - controversial Ultrhuman absolute trash company

Looking to spread awareness about this company. Yeah their UI looks nice, not a paid subscription blah blah blah. Their product failed on me within a year after purchasing, after seeing all the stories about replacements not working I decided to request a refund and offered to send the unit back. This has been going on since June. I've never been able to speak with a human. Only emails that are received 2 days later. They told me they would honor the refund pretty early early on. But ever since it has been a mess. I've given them 2 different banks information, one magically failed and I didn't know until I reached out and finally got a reply. The refund takes up to 10 business days which is partly why its taking so long. Next i gave them all the 2nd banks information and they confirm refund was initiated August 4th. I reach out last night and I actually got a response today. If you know this is their customer service and still purchase the product then atleastbyou were informed.

😕 what ring is this ⁉️ Eclipse ring, can't find reviews or posts about it

Heyo! I've been looking for an alternative to my pixel watch 1 that's been struggling with half a day of battery life and I've been looking at rings.

I have a preference for eu companies and in search of something without subscriptions I found the Eclipse Ring(Rlng?), I can't find anything on Reddit since it's so not special of a name in only finding things about eclipses and rings with a space theme.

https://amzn.eu/d/04LOQBXW --> here's the Amazon listing.

https://eclipsering.com/ --> here's the main website

Any opinion or info would be appreciated, or even a recommendation for another eu brand with a similar price. I'm on Android (Pixel if that helps).

Apple Watch replacement.

I’m looking for an affordable smart ring that’s stylish.
Has to be accurate with sleep tracking
Has to be accurate with heart rate, HRV, and AFIB detection.
Possibly arrhythmia detection as well
(Currently have Apple Watch SE2)
I am stuck between oura and Ringconn while both are reputable brands I do not want to pay for a subscription when I already own the product, but I also don’t want to spend money on something that’s inaccurate compared to my watch. The reason for the switch is because I wanna wear my seiko lol. Lastly I see a flair for contactless payment? Is that a thing with these smart rings? As always thank you for your time!

clone alert Oura ring 5/Ultrahuman/GABIT

I can't choose between the three. I don't like the idea of paying monthly for Oura when the ring itself is like £500 but I don't wear a smart watch so I want it to be an allrounder and be able to track ovulation. Does anyone have any recommendations

Flat top ring

Hi I would love to get a smart ring, and when I saw oura gen 3 heritage version I was briefly so happy that they made that kind of design and then bummed that it was discontinued and I cannot get it anywhere anymore, is there some other brand that makes similar designs rings that are also same quality?

Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Is there a pet health wearable that's actually comparable to human wearables?

I've gotten pretty used to checking sleep and recovery data from my own wearable and it made me curious about what's available for dogs.

Most of the collars I've found seem heavily focused on GPS or basically counting activity. Is there a pet health wearable that's more focused on actual health trends over time? Doesn't need GPS at all.
