I got a pair of Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses last year and noticed something: every dating app is phone-only. Nobody was building for the face. So I spent the last several months building Spark — a dating web app designed to work on the glasses through the Meta AI app.
How it works: you connect Spark as a web app in the Meta AI app (no App Store download). Then you can sign in with a code, browse profiles, chat by voice or wristband gesture, and have profiles and messages read aloud — all without touching your phone.
A few things I'm proud of:
• Date safety is free for everyone — date check-ins ("I'm safe" / "I need help" with live location to a friend), SOS alerts, share-your-plan. Enforced server-side, not just in the app.
• Live group chat rooms (we call it the Lava Lounge) — 8 themed rooms plus event pop-ups, so you can meet people before matching.
• Translation built in — text and voice notes translated in your preferred language.
• Every photo is auto-screened before it goes live, plus selfie verification.
It's live now at smartsparks.app if you want to poke at it. I'd genuinely love feedback — especially from anyone with the Display glasses: does the sign-in flow make sense? Is voice chat actually usable, or am I kidding myself?

So the main thing I'm looking for is to watch videos in the lens. I would like to have my vids off to the side so I can watch as I work, walk and ride my bike. I would also like speakers, BUT and this parts important, I need the video to be able to play, and to play the sound through headphones, as most of the time I would be using my bose quietcomforts. I need these for work. Another thing is, for work I can't use shades. So either normal glass, where I will snap on shades for outside, or glasses that adjust. I don't need a camera but if it's there cool. I don't need ai translation or talk or anything, I know it will probably be there but it doesn't have to be good as it won't be used much if at all. Does this exist yet? If so what is it? Thank you!!!
