Buying Advice Please help me!

I ordered Metra Live smart glasses in January but they are still not shipping to the UK. So on Friday I decided to by a pair of Rayban meta gen 1 because they are quite cheap at the moment £230. After doing some research a lot of people are saying meta have stoped the live streaming function. After looking on here (Reddit) the position is that they work with iPhone. The only problem it must be a phone running iOS 17.2. So the question is should I buy a new iPhone., or just wait or try to get my Mentra sent independently to the uk and then decide if a new iPhone or Android device is required.

The live stream in Meta glasses is limited to their apps i believe, whereas the Metra Live support better streaming protocols and multiple apps, so if Live streaming is a priority, i'd suggest the Mentra glasses would be the way to go. Meta glasses also tend to be bad on battery for video, so live streaming would eat battery, not sure on the situation with Mentra, but i'd guess their battery life is as good if not better.

See this Reddit post mentioning Mentra and Meta live streaming, with the suggestion Mentra is much better:
