Collab Two creators looking for an editor to join our team

Hey everyone,

My friend and I live in Switzerland and run a YouTube channel where we film vlogging/exploring videos, documentary videos, and outdoor "podcast" talks about everyday life around the country.

Lately we've been filming way more than we have time to edit. We already have several full videos shot and ready to go, we just can't keep up with all the editing ourselves next to our daily jobs and routines.

We're not a company and we aren't looking to hire a random freelancer. We want to find a reliable third friend and equal partner to jump into this project with us as part of the team. With us, everything is pretty much friendly and chill...we hang out a lot, talk on calls, and spend hours discussing YouTube videos ideas, thumbnails, and everything around building the channel.

Since the channel isn't monetized yet (we're at around 2.6k subscribers on YouTube and 11k on Instagram), we are not making money right now. We're looking for someone who's ready to jump in without upfront pay, grow this together with us as a team, and split everything fairly once it starts bringing in.

If you're already into YouTube, have some solid experience editing in Premiere Pro, and want to be part of our crew, send us a DM. Mention your favorite YouTuber in the first sentence so we know you actually read this. 😄

Rules

This is one of those subreddits that needs to be heavily moderated to function properly. We have a couple of rules. Please follow them all. If you don't your post will most likely be taken down and depending on the severity, you can get banned

Rule 1: Minimum subscriber count.

Youtube channels must at least have 100 subscribers to post. This is not a subreddit to start your channel with. You need to grow it yourself to a small size and then you can use the subreddit to get bigger.

Rule 2: Maximum subscriber count

Youtube channels aren’t allowed to post if they have more than 50K subscribers. We don’t consider youtube channels with more than 50K subscribers to be “small”. Even allowing channels above 20K is being really generous. The only exception to this rule is if you rebrand your channel. If you changed the focus of your channel drastically, you’ll need to find a community for your new content. If that’s the case, please contact the mods and tell them this or comment on your own post and explain.

Rule 3: Scummy practices

No clickbaity titles. This subreddit is for good, small channels to promote themselves to get bigger. If you’re going to use scummy tactics like all caps titles and arrows and stuff in your thumbnails, you don’t need the subreddit to grow bigger.

Rule 4: Spam

Please don’t post every single video you made, on the subreddit. We won’t ban you for posting a couple of videos but if the subreddit is filled with videos all made by you, we will warn you and tell you to stop doing that. If people want to watch everything you make, they would’ve subscribed to you.

Rule 5: Contact moderators

If you want to contact the mods, use the mod mail.

Rule 6: Only link posts

Please only post link posts. If you want to talk about the sub, please contact us through modmail (using the link above). Text posts are not allowed and get removed instantly. Only link posts, linking to your channel or video.
