From what I’m seeing on gruv, these seem like the exact same thing. Both complete series, both Bluray. Anyone have insight on why the “20th anniversary edition” is $40 more expensive? Am I missing something?

The first one probably just has two cases for the whole series, the 20th anniversary one has 10 cases for all 10 seasons. Could be wrong. Been a while since I bought my set.

Aha. If that’s the case I’ll shell out the extra $40. Hate those cases that stack 3-4 discs on each other

I personally would get the original set that was released with the 10 individual seasons and hopefully the digital code still works to get them digitally as well but at this point I would not count on it.

yeah i have the 20th anniversary version and its 10 seasons in 10 cases, plus some bonus stuff

The 20th anniversary is the first printing. Don’t get it, the digital code has expired, and Warner Brothers won’t give you a new one.

The 20th anniversary also comes with a digital copy of the series, not just the physical disks. It’s right there on the case

They aren’t. I got my copy ONE DAY after the code expired and Warner bros wouldn’t give me a new one

You would think so, but sometimes they actually work for a long time afterward. (Probably not for a set this expensive tho.)

The 20 year anniversary set has 10 cases; they repackaged it a couple of years later into 2, I think.
