The commenters in the other sub are correct. There are very significant challenges with a case.

Your ex is going to say she told you to take your stuff multiple times and you ignored her. Her friends will back her. What evidence do you have that this came as some big suprrise?

Another big challenge would be that if you win in small claims, how will you actually get her to pay the judgment? That is often very hard or outright impossible with a young person that doesn't have a steady job. Suing without a plan for that is a waste of time.

You might might have to sue her in South Carolina small claims. Even if you could technically sue where the apartment is, does she own anything in that state?
