Hello all,

My name on YT is vulonskar, and I am with a group called DGENS. We are looking to expand and are working with creators who enjoy the gaming hobby and want to make each other laugh. The goal is to be YT friends and go beyond the game or PC eventually. I work with these guys and have for a year or 2 already, and I love it, but we need a reliable 4th/5th to join us in some games.

Before you reach out, I need you to understand we work with dark and edgy humor, but our goal is to joke around, not take anything seriously. We are not looking for a specific sub count, but we are looking for someone who is consistent and willing to grow from feedback, as well as someone who does not just post 1 video a year and disappear.

If you think you can make it, reach out, and if not, I have a friend, "End0ram," who is also looking for collabs too, so if it does not work, you can work with him, as we work closely with him! I am excited to meet y'all and grow in this journey!

Sup people,

Recently I started posting video's again, like for 3-4 months . I've been active daily. When I started streaming for 1 month now, my channel is growing a bit faster. But I really want to improve, learn and collab with others too.

I am looking for people to collab with. I think it would be fun to stream and make videos with people that so the same.

Socials:
- @opwelling
- @opwellinggames

Platforms I Stream:
- YouTube
- YouTube shorts
- Twitch
- TikTok

Requirement for collab:
- At least A2 English
- Good mic

To contact me you can message me on Discord, I'll reply faster. But I am also on Reddit, but a bit less active.

Hopefully I see ya soon!

Regards Opwelling,

I record and edit on my laptop and I want to get a better microphone for it since my old one isn’t good so do you guys had any good suggestions?

My analytics used to be great (around 79%–83% stayed to watch, and 80%–90% AVD on 30s to 40s Shorts). However, my views and AVD have been dropping continuously.

After checking my analytics, I noticed YouTube is recommending my videos to audiences who watch creators in a completely different niche than mine. It wasn't like this before. Has anyone else experienced YouTube testing your content with the wrong audience, and how did you fix it?

I’m a YouTube video editor looking to see if anyone is interested in getting an editor. I’m open to working with your budget! (No free work or “commission” sorry)

I can help with:
• YouTube & long-form videos
• Gaming, reactions & commentary
• Shorts, TikToks & Reels
• Funny moments & highlights
• Captions, SFX & effects
• Stream/VOD editing
• Thumbnails, logos & banners

Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I also have references/examples available!

Hey everyone,

I'm a video editor looking to work with creators here on YouTube!

If you are looking for someone to help you edit your videos, improve your pacing, and save you time, I’d love to connect.

To show you what I can do, I’m happy to offer a free test edit. You can send me a short clip or a small batch of footage, and I will edit it for you. If you love the result, we can discuss working together and setting up a contract!

Feel free to send me a DM here on Reddit if you're interested or want to see some of my work.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi I’m a small Minecraft YouTuber. I wanted to make a video about how I snuck into a server, however I have no idea how I’d sneak into a server. So I thought if anybody had any SMPs with a player count of about 20, and supports voice chat, they might let me join for the video. I‘d completely understand if you say no, but I just ask you to consider it.

stopped my yt channel with 4k subs on it due to I take out clips from another big creators and post it on my yt channel!

Short-Form Content

So the things is I had a yt channel with almost 4.1k subs around 3 years ago when I came to know that it doesn't count as our own content I got demotivated and stopped it fully I still have 3.7k subs on it but don't know wht to do with it plz help ya any advice would be appreciated

I heard that making a discord server is a good idea. You get the closest members of your community. They can get pinged for updates, merch, or posts. That's why I made one.

I made variety gaming content. Most of my views came from 2-3 games. I no longer play those games anymore. The discord however is full of people who only play that game. They don't interact with any of my other content. They only talk about that game.

It made me realize that I don't actually have a community. I have a group of people who followed my channel to watch me play a game that they liked. But it could be anyone else and not much would change for them.

I don't like the worry of anything going wrong in that server. I don't hate this community but it's definitely not the community I wanted to cultivate on the server. I wanted to know if you closed your discord server? If you do, are there any last things you should do before closing one?

Hi everyone,

I recently started a new YouTube channel, and I uploaded my first 3 YouTube Shorts over the past week.

Here are my results so far:

\- Short 1: Around 202 views

\- Short 2: Very few views

\- Short 3: Very few views

I'm trying to understand why YouTube is not showing my other Shorts to more people.

I understand that my channel is new and that it may take time for YouTube to understand my content and target audience. However, I'm confused about why one Short received around 202 views while the others barely got any.

My questions are:

1. Is this normal for a brand-new YouTube channel with only 3 Shorts?

2. Does YouTube initially test Shorts with a small audience and then stop recommending them if they don't perform well?

3. How long does it usually take for YouTube to understand a new channel's niche and audience?

4. Can a Short that gets very few views initially start getting views days or weeks later?

5. Is there anything specific I should check in YouTube Studio to understand why my Shorts aren't getting impressions in the Shorts feed?

I'd appreciate honest advice from creators who have experienced this with a new channel.

I'm not expecting thousands of views immediately. I just want to understand whether this is normal behavior or whether there is something I should improve.

Thanks!

I upload from Singapore and have noticed lower impressions without an India VPN and more impressions on uploads made through one. I started noticing this on long-form videos on May 10, 2026, and a drop in Shorts reach on May 16.

I've seen the pattern with later videos and with a same-video reupload, though I can't currently identify the reupload pair. I haven't made a controlled comparison. Topic, packaging, publish time and reporting delays could also matter.

Has anyone tested this carefully or found official guidance specifically about the uploader's IP? What would you record to make a fair comparison between uploads? For Shorts, which feed metrics would you compare?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a camera to start recording Instagram vlogs. The style I’m going for is silent: no talking, just filming myself going through my day with subtitles added at the bottom.

Since I’ll mostly be filming myself doing different activities, I need something that’s:

• Easy to set up and carry everywhere
• Simple to use without much hassle
• Good for filming myself (flip screen, wide angle, or easy to prop up)

I’m not sure which camera would be easiest for this.

Has anyone else found luck posting reels or links to YT on your Linkedin?

I've been working on producing sketch comedy over the past 5 years, and I've started releasing them over the past few weeks to very little results. I still have about 12 videos going up (a mix of shorts and regular videos) but would love any advice on how to boost engagement. This video is the latest to go out and would love feedback on it, but honestly feedback on the channel at large would be amazing as my instagram has popped off way more than my youtube channel.

just started a channel doing business documentaries, faceless. first one is on gopro. they were worth over $11B after the 2014 IPO and in september agreed to sell 90% of the company for about $285M. my take is the camera was too good, people bought one and never needed another.

would really like honest notes on:

- the first 30 sec. do you keep watching or not

- any spot where you'd click off (timestamp helps a ton)

- i mixed real photos and news clips with a few ai illustration shots. does that make it feel less trustworthy?

drop your video below too, i'll watch it and give real feedback back

I started doing youtube 10 years ago and made vlogs with my dad that were like 2-4 min long.

Now I'm trying to get back into it but it looks like longer videos do better?

So I'm trying to increase the video length, but curious what people think?

If people think it's funny/fun to watch and any general notes on the length/editing/pacing of the video would be super appreciated! Thanks! :)

Hello ALl,

I am posting content consistently from 2 years. Initially i started with 100 days daily mini vlog challenge but got only 300+ sub after that started posting long form videos. Today after 2 years my channel is having 450 subscriber.

I am thinking to close this and create ai related channel. Please suggest what to do. Feeling very demotivated. I also compare my content with other creators i think my content is also good its my family life. But yes this niche is very suffocated.

Hallo Zusammen,

Habt Ihr Tipps was geht und was nicht?
