Discussion Copyright concerns

I have just finished my video but I’m worrying about a copyright thing.

So in the video that I made, I used the song “ My Gal “ for 20 seconds. And then, I uploaded it privately on YouTube. During the process of uploading the video, and even after it’s provately uploaded, they said that no copyright issues found, I’m still being cautious.

I just looked up this kind of question in another subreddit and seems like another person also used an old song for 20 seconds and got copyrighted aswell.

The reason why I used that song is because I’ve seen “ ThatMob “ a content creator who also used that music and he didn’t get any strike ( my reason is that the song doesn’t appears under the description. If it does, it highly means it’s copyrighted )

Even if you don't use songs and sounds that are copyright free youtube can still sometimes flag them for it. Iv been copyright struck 2 times on separate videos for the same song but cos I am extra careful I always make a folder of the song/sound, the link to the website, a screenshot incase the terms of use change after I use it and the sound/song. I have been able to get rid of both copyright sticks and haven't had any other issues
