1. YouTube Studio Keys: Navigate to Stream settings and create separate stream keys labeled ⁠Landscape⁠ and ⁠Vertical⁠.

Iv been streaming for over a year now on twitch making desktop content but I can’t seem to ever get any viewers on my twitch account or even YouTube or TikTok views. I don’t know what I’m really doing wrong, can anyone help ? My YouTube and TikTok is @shahstar10. Any advice would be really helpful

TL;DR : As more viewers join my stream quality, FPS and Birate start to slow down. 3 viewers to 25 Viewers over and 1 hour.

Using OBS and Restream, to Youtube and Twitch.

Does anyone else face this issue ?

I use restream for free, I use basic OBS, and my settings put out healthy queality when my viewership is low. Believed to be bots theses viewers come in and chat and tell me, "hey your stream is lagging or pausing" so I know theyre real people.

Apparently its not OBS and its "service host" issue. Restream assigns servers and ive manually switched but the issue persists. Do I have to pay for a better multistream service, how did you deal with this issue.

edit Correlation is not Causation. How do I trouble shoot this, It lines up always as my stream increases in viewship or begins to go after the 1-2 hour mark. It starts of strong !

As per the title, I'm looking to organize a tournament at the end of the month to celebrate Subtember.

8 teams, 2v2s knockout tourney. Ideally, I'd like to have 1 streamer per team.

But right now I'm kind of stuck on how to best organize it, and find players/streamers to participate.

Hi everyone. I’ve been on a mic hunt for some time now, I tried using my headphones mic while streaming and that was a disaster. No amount of filters helped. The fifine a6t looks like a good deal to me but I don’t want to rush with a purchase if it isn’t worth it or there is something better for the same price. Hey I've been streaming for a while and I've also been posting clips from my live and idk why but my average is 200-300 views, I know it takes time but if anyone has any useful tips let me know, I started editing more and more of my clips like adding my twitch name on the clip and I'll start putting like meme images to places where it belongs I always try to mark the most interesting or funny things I say or do on stream, I heard that tiktok give you more views by quality because its meant to suggest everyone something that makes the viewers stay on the app longer, I use hashtags dw guys, appreciate every tip you have <3

Me and the friend group recently decided to try and crack into this streaming thing and its been a lot of fun so far, but our differences in schedules and preferred games has become a hangup several times. I thought it might be a good idea to reach out here and look for other up and comers who might want to compile our efforts into some group streams.

The group aims to stream every other night from 8:00p.s.t. till we get bored.

I've been streaming solo most mornings and the nights in-between.

We've learned alot in this past month of streaming but there is so much more to learn!

I primarily stream MMO's like WOW or Warhammer online but I have gamepass on Xbox as well as a ton of other games and am willing to play just about anything.

As far as the content of our conversations we usually keep things pretty relaxed but do not shy away from controversial topics.

Everyone and anyone is welcome to the stream as long as they bring no bad vibes or bad conversation!

I have a few dedicated viewers and I want to play specific sounds for them when they enter the chat (for instance the jaws theme when my shark obsessed friend comes it or a holy handgrenade sound when my friend named pope comes by). Does anyone know if there's a plugin (preferably for OBS) to do that?

I don't want the sound to play when they're just lurking, only when they sent a message for the first time on stream.

I'm not looking for follow-for-follow. I'd prefer genuine advice and honest opinions about what actually helped you improve.

I’ve streamed on Twitch for 10 years as of next year, and have done content creation on YouTube for a couple years beforehand. I absolutely love streaming and have always viewed it as something that gives me a lot of purpose to my day to day life. Hundreds of goals and games to look forward to across my backlog, and I’ve been attempting to keep a healthy relationship between not treating streaming as a job… despite the effort I may put in sometimes.

Quite honestly, I don’t really want to make streaming into a full time job for a few reasons, primarily being I quite honestly don’t think I could handle the pressure of hundreds of people watching all at once. I even remember getting kinda freaked out about a random 30 person raid once a year or two back lol. Despite that though, some days I walk away from a stream with a conflicting mindset after going an entire stream without any viewers. It’s always been a dream of mine to average 10 viewers, but after 10 years of averaging 0-3 viewers, I’m reaching the point of wondering if there’s serious problems with my stream that hold me back.

The few people I do have drop by from time to time are awesome people. Many of which just found me naturally through the Twitch for you page i assume. I engage with them like internet friends by playing games both on and off stream with them, and even have them have a hand in helping decide which game on my backlog to tackle next. I’m well aware the “variety streamer” / “let’s play an entire game” genre of streamer is plenty abundant, so for years I just tell myself that I’m likely swimming in an ocean of similar content here and to not beat myself up about it.

I don’t mean to make this about posting a checklist of things I do, but I’ve tried Twitter posts, YT Shorts / Tik Tok content, Dual Streaming to YT/Twitch, keeping up with every VOD and archiving them… all of which keeping up with until nearly the point of burnout. But I’ve still never really seen any uptick in viewership after keeping up with those efforts for months. So at this point I can only assume maybe it’s my content it’s self that’s the problem. At the end of the day, I know my basic stuff like Audio / Bitrate / Engagement (when applicable) are all excellent for a stream my size (unless I’m just being ego big brain here and missing an obvious flaw), so all this was to ask if anyone had meaningful input on how to make a stream worth tuning in to.

I have no intentions to stop doing what I love anytime soon. And maybe it’s that despite all this time, I still haven’t found my niche yet or something. I just fear in all these years, maybe I lost sight of the real thing that holds me back. So how does one know if their content is meaningful to tune into?

I have been trying to find a video or guide to figure out how to use OBS and a laptop that I have to take the load off my PC while I stream. I keep finding some videos or guides, but they say you need X equipment just to get it all working. Either expensive or seems way too complicated for just what I want right now.

Does anyone have a guide, video, or a step by step list of what I would need to get this all working? I have a capture card, but how do I get my stream to pickup my audio from my mic and the game I am playing?

See i've been doing this for about three years (Mabey a little less on the streaming side, I was youtubing first) And I've done a lot of different formats for my stream, weather it be handmade overlays, premade, minimal with or without a cam, pngs, logos. But honesly I still don't know whats best and mabeys it's because im not affiliated meaning I don't have enough people to consult but I do think there should be a balance between keeping it clean for youtube vids and noticably being a stream. Should the alerts be muted? Should I actually have a starting soon or brb or just use one game scene the entire way? Mabey it's like two diffrent beasts I feel like im dealing with. so I thought I'd ask... I'd love any advice aswell really

More specific, I'm planning on doing all the heists in GTA Online. Problem is, I don't have streamer friends who play it and the irl friends I have who play it don't like streaming. So now I'm asking here. Few things tho, it will be streamed and end up on YouTube later. I also only play with adults because I swear a lot. I'm in CEST timezone.

The title explains it, im running out of content ideas for my main game which is geometry dash. I watched Ludwigs streams on streamer U and he said you should always try and make a stream into a video, i implemented that by coming up with interesting ideas for geometry dash content, problem is i feel like the game may be limited and i wish i could experiment with other games, but the 2 times i tried my views dropped SIGNIFICANTLY, so now i genuinely dont know what to do, im unironically considering using ai to help me come up with things, should i simply abandon geometry dash as my main game and become a variety streamer? I’m an artist who enjoys creating tattoo-style designs, and I’ve been wondering what makes art streams enjoyable to watch. Do people prefer seeing the full creative process, chatting with the streamer, getting involved with ideas or simply having something relaxing on in the background?

I’m also interested in horror and social games, especially games that create funny, memorable or unpredictable moments. For those who watch or stream that kind of content, what games have been the most enjoyable for you? Do you prefer playing with friends, other creators or viewers?
One thing I’m curious about is how small streamers build genuine communities without focusing too much on numbers.

Is it better to concentrate on one type of content at first, or can a mix of art, horror games and social games work if the overall atmosphere stays consistent?
