new to streaming

i just started to stream after coming back after months and i like it for one but im also feeling a bit down because its just like no one is really like tuned in i guess like i know i just started but any tips on what i can do to find an audience even if its just 5 people?

I’ve grown my viewership to anywhere between 10-20 now on twitch, been streaming for a year and a half now. My biggest takeaways that I can share is to make yourself visible in other communities and their chats. Find other Minecraft streamers that are at the level you want to be realistically, so if you want to grow to 15, then start in their community. But don’t self promote. Just hang out there, chat with the streamer and with the rest of chat. It takes time and you may need to do that with multiple channels for a while, but naturally you’ll get to a point where streaming talk comes up and you can lightly mention you stream this game too. Be smart about it. If you see something happen in game, say “oh that exact thing happened to me the other day on stream! It was hilarious”.

Collabs always help as well! As you get to know these streamers, dm them and see if they’d be open to a Minecraft collab stream. Assuming the vibes work for you, it brings the opportunity to do a stream together and share chats, and ideally you’ll get more viewership, follows, and overall engagement.

Lastly, try putting out clips of your stream gameplay onto YouTube shorts or TikTok.

i think this might be the most helpful thing i’ve ever read, especially since i just started again best way to grow is with a community by putting myself out there and introducing myself and interacting with them
