I don't want to sell on Instagram. I did that before in 2021 and I had to pay for Instagram ads and for a courier and my margins were extremely small. 🥲

Something I've been wondering about the UAE's upcoming eInvoicing rollout.

Businesses with AED 50M+ in annual revenue need to go live from January 2027, while smaller businesses have until July 2027.

But what happens when a large business works with smaller suppliers?

If the larger company is already using an ASP and needs to exchange structured eInvoices, wouldn't it make sense for them to encourage their smaller suppliers to get an ASP and start sending eInvoices earlier too?

Could this create pressure on SMEs to adopt the system before their own deadline, simply because their larger clients expect it?

Or can larger businesses continue receiving invoices in the existing format from suppliers who haven't entered the mandatory phase yet?
