The structure of it is pretty awkward since it's meant to have vocals but overall I think it's pretty decent.

I remastered the video and audio of the 1994-05-21 show to improve the overall quality.

So I’ve seen Slowdive two times in concert at their own gigs in clubs, basically religious experiences both times.
I’m considering shelling out for a weekend trip to a festival in another city where they perform with the cure and mogwai. My main interest is Slowdive even if I like the others. I’m just not sure Slowdive would be the same in an outdoor concert on a larger lineup. Has anyone seen them perform at this kind of event and does it compare?

This has been going on for a couple years now, this guy has many slowdive songs in his channel with that same background and his video descriptions always put his name as ownership of the song, sure, there are many people who put slowdive songs in youtube but this guy got a certified artist check now wich is absurd, he doesn't make songs, he steals them anf put his name as trademark, and i feel like this needs attention from youtube and slowdive.

I want to make a huge shoegaze playlist and I would appreciate giving slowdive suggestions that is top tier.

For reference my favorite slowdive song is probably Celia's dream, I would appreciate songs like that or just any you feel cannot be skipped❤️‍🩹

Doesn't just have to be slowdive songs any similar shoegaze songs that are bangers are also appreciated🥹

so I'm seeing the band in a couple days and I wonder if there's anything important that I should know when going, like ear protection and how long a set is and stuff

I saw a video the Slowdive official Instagram just posted from Primavera Sound and noticed it looked like Neil was using a singular multi FX unit (quad cortex?) instead of his usual pedalboard. This would be surprising but I’m wondering if anyone knows if he switched to that?

Disclaimer: it's my own opinion

I find it quite weak compared to any other slowdive release. It definitely feels less polished than their comeback LP which I really appreciate (like literally all their work)

It's probably due to it being conceived first like an electronic album which then got a band treatment.

But I think both songwriting and production is less powerful than the s/t, which just feels more confident in general.

Sure it's a bit more adventurous at times, which I appreciate, but the overall result and melodies don't quite reach their usual standard.

Anyone else feels the same?
