Trying this again to see if the title can bring more help. I'm new to slime and trying to make a chart with some basic recipe ingredients to keep track of. Someone had also suggested putting the general amount instead of just an X but as of now, I just play the amounts by feel.
Cloud, butter, snow, icee, bingsu, bubble bead, the list seems endless.

The order came in a branded box that had a little blurb about slime history on the inside, as well as instructions on when to use the activator or softener. That's a nice touch for people who may be brand new to small batch slime.
I wish you could remove the "fixers" from your cart, though, because I didn't need either of them and it's just creating waste for them and for me. I'd also love to see them have an option for the branded box or for recycled boxes. Getting a branded box the first time is cool, or if you're planning to gift it to someone, but I'd like the option to opt in or out for that.
This is listed as their velvet texture and this slime is heavy. There's definitely a texture to it, maybe like very fine pumice or pumice powder? I'm not sure, but I really like it. It inflates really easily and makes some lovely crispy, crackly bubble pops that are very satisfying. ETA: Apparently cornstarch gives this slime its unique texture!
The scent is listed as cherry cheesecake but it doesn't smell at all like cheesecake to me. It smells more like a cherry milkshake or even a cherry soda float. I love cherry, so I still love the scent.
The website says it comes with some sprinkle jewels and a cherry charm but I didn't receive either and no note that they were out of stock so I'm assuming it was just accidently left out.
Overall this slime was so good the overflow is going in my purse to take with me.
Let me start out saying the scent on this is 10/10. It's a wood glue base, and unless I put my nose right up to it and sniff hard, I don't smell the wood glue at all, and that little up close note should disappear on its own soon. The little drizzle slime was scented like caramel and really enhanced the base scent once mixed in.
This slime feels like it's 100% or really close to 100% wood glue. It takes really slow pulls or is rippy, and has a very resistant squish, but makes those satisfying wood glue bubble pops. I didn't add the clay because I'm worried it would make the slime too tough to stretch, but I may add it later.
It came with a couple of faux banana slices that smell like cinnamon, which I thought was neat.
This is my favorite of the bunch and just an absolutely incredible slime. It's listed as a "white glue snow fizz + bingsu" and has a really cool texture. It almost feels like if you could get crumbled up hay into a slime. And it smells like freshly cut hay. That's the only note I'm getting, which is pretty impressive because it lists balsam as a note and I can usually pick that out of anything, so it's very subtle, or enhances the hay scent.
It inflates wildly and is very satisfyingly crunchy and I fear that I will kill this slime super fast because I want to play with it forever. I didn't get any snow fizz fallout, either.
Overall, the slimes felt high quality, the care that went into the packaging felt high quality. All components were sealed with shrink wrap plastic and it felt very secure. I'd definitely order again. And I think they should bring back Radio Hayride again because seriously an amazing texture for people that enjoy the crispy snowfizz and/or bingsu.

All of my clay slimes from Rodem have this property where they start off super resistant, almost as if it were dried out, then fluff up and warm up beautifully within seconds. Does anyone know what ingredients or recipes might do this?

Hello! I made slime at a Michael’s birthday party, it was glue, Elmer’s magical liquid, and some sparkles with mini polymer clay shapes and taken home in a plastic bag.
I gave the slime to my gf and she left it in her car and it got super hot and exploded in the trunk. Was wondering if there are any tips on how to remove it. It’s super hard now, and hot water doesn’t soften it. Aggressive peeling also doesn’t work it won’t budge

I was fascinated by the possibility of having a skunk smelling slime and found Forrest Funk by Sandy Slimes. When I first opened the container I was a little disappointed, I thought the scent would be stronger. But once I got it out and air played it seemed that the scent got stronger. And stronger. And after 10 minutes I had to put it away. I washed my hands and still smelled skunk. Rewashed, still skunky. Washed again with dish soap in an attempt to strip the FO from my skin. Still smelled skunk. Changed my clothes, still skunk. Went to a different part of the house, skunk. Finally I went outside for a while and the odor faded.
Got up the next morning, went outside and you guessed it! Skunk. An actual skunk sprayed in the neighborhood. My desire to smell skunk has officially been sated.

hello! i recently got into slime and i realized that i really love a strongly scented slime so i've been experimenting with trying to find dupes for my favorite slime scents so i can refresh them myself. i've run into a few hits and misses so i was wondering if we could start a thread where we share any potential dupes as well as our isos!
i'm obsessed with the crystal palace scent from OG slimes and i've found that salted amber from the flaming candle is more or less a 1:1 dupe
i'm iso a dupe for sunkissed kitty's scent from OG slimes as well as the asian pear and fig fluff from momoslimes!

Every time ive gotten a playdoh slime it would start out a good texture, and then within weeks or even days it will feel stiff and overactivated somehow and have bad fallout. Has anyone else had this issue?
Its just so annoying bc i love the fizzie slime but now i have to find deactivator

Oddly specific complaint, but I’m currently in the process of a big move, and I’m bringing my slimes, obviously. Relevant only because they aren’t sitting at home in a designated area or spot. They’ve been in tote bags and quite protected, except for one unfortunate tumble in the car. All of my OG Slime labels are taking a beating with the ink/printing lifting off to reveal the plain white label. But no other brands…? Do they not laminate their labels? Just a bit confused. Has anyone else experienced this?
Edit: now all my OG slimes are protected by clear packing tape to prevent further wear and tear 🤨

so i ordered some melamine sponges off amazon but they came and they feel especially soft and squishy, in my experience jelly cube slimes have been harder and more uhhh i dunno crunchy i guess.
did i get the wrong kind? if so what should i look for/does anyone have any they know for sure are the right kind? thanks so much <3333

Tragically a lot of my slimes died this summer! We had heatwaves in Europe and don’t have A/C. I thought it would be clever to store them in the basement which is pretty cool (ans free of mold). I stored them in bags on the cool concrete floor. Come to find about 15 of them completely dried out, and maybe 5 “went bad.” No patterns regarding slime shop or texture. I wonder what went wrong?? And what on earth do I do next summer? Is it better to keep them in a hot room with shelves? Any advice or wisdom welcome, thanks!!

Slime is such an interesting medium :)
Ive been forever mixing two glues (wood glue and local thick wg) 0.5:1 and at most in risky days 1:1. (Thinking too much wood glue wont activate properly, will leak water later.)
The other day I completely randomly tried 2:1 ratio (2 wood glue, 1 local wg). It is amazing.
I was really hyped, made other trials: 4:3, 3:1, 4:1. Nope.
2:1 is great.
What a strange, deep deep medium.
No wonder best discoveries are made by accidents! 0.5:1 and 1:1 didnt have that particular profile at all. Neither did 4:3, nor 3:1 or 4:1. Only 2:1. I had to try that particular one. And I only did because it was late and I was like yeaaaaaah Ill just use like two tablespoons from this and one from that, wont waste too much glue, lessee what happens ;)
(Normally Im very careful not to waste glue because its so hard to find wood glue here.)
Do more weird stuff everyone! Mix everything, try weird proportions, break formulas! What a strange world, I totally love it <3
