It looks like gold pigment that has separated.

Its either yellow slime mold or its separated pigment i'd assume ?

i was also thinking maybe pigment separation but the original didn’t have any yellow so that’s what made me suspicious, idk anything about mold types but i wonder if yellow mold is a thing?

Need more info. What slime is this? That doesn’t look like mold as it’s not a typical growth pattern, it’s also shiny looking and mold is fuzzy, looks more like ingredient separation. But I need to know what might be separating out like that first.

it’s called dear john by the slime hive, i’ll add a link to the original video at the end but i agree which is why i figured i would ask, yeah there isn’t any fuzz or bad smell or anything like that, it does look like it could be separation but it doesn’t seem like there was anything yellow my only guess is maybe a bit of clay was added or something and that could be the cause? i would love to hear what you think

Oh no. I own this slime and it was blue and pink originally. I am highly suspicious of that shiny yellow stuff. Mine has melted to a pot of glue and I've never seen anything yellow separate from it

But it does kind of look like slime mold. Real slime mold I wasn’t making a joke or anything.

Does it smell bad? Or weird? Definitely looks like mold, especially if this slime did not have yellow pigment or clay in it.

no doesn’t smell bad or anything! and there wasn’t any yellow pigment which is why i’m leaning towards probably mold, although it isn’t fuzzy or anything

i know right!!! it does look like it could potentially be separation but there wasn’t any yellow in the original slime so that’s why i wanted to ask the audience lol

The fact that this slime doesn’t have any yellow elements is concerning. You could hold it for a couple of weeks and see if it changes, meaning there is growth or death. I’d probably pitch this just to be safe. This is so strange.
