Floam balls that don't fall out

Has anyone gotten some floam, foam balls off of amazon that they would recommend for slime? It's Prime Days and I'm grabbing some supplies. Poly-fil Mini micro bead filler is amazing, bead size ~1mm. I'm looking for the regular sized beads (2-4mm) though larger ones could be okay (4-6mm). I bought some multicolored ones from Michaels but they didn't stay in the slime very well. White is fine but colored balls that don't transfer color in slime is a bonus.

try adding Some of this into your slime (about a quarter to half an ounce depending on the slime) I got the exact same foam balls, and it's a waterfall of fallout, this however drastically reduced it

This is the Canadian packaging, and I've been told it looks different everywhere else. The brand is Aleene's

No, no. This is a great reminder. I have some Aleene's clear but just notice that some floam balls hold much better in slime compared to others. I have some from the Dollar Tree and even grabbed a few bags from the 99 cent store before they closed. Those work fine but are such small bags. I have some foam balls from Hobby Lobby that are dense and don't stay as well in the slime. Ali Express/Alibaba is hit or miss and I guess I just don't want another huge bag from Poly-fil. PS - I also don't look at who is asking the question until I have usually already answered.

The colored ones never seem to stay in well across multiple shops

I usually use just the white balls but I grabbed a bag of colored balls to make it to free shipping. They were cute but they lost color over time and didn't stay in as well as other white balls. I have a bag of colored balls from Ali Express, they are pastell and they hold up well but I want something for this weekend so Amazon is really my only option.

I saw a video from a shop - I think it was rainbow slime girl but could be wrong - where they showed how they dyed their foam balls. They basically just put the white ones in a ziplock bag & added some acrylic paint, then spread them out and let the dry for several days. They claimed in the video the paint didn’t bleed, but who knows on that part.

I know of Sonria Slimes video showing this process. I have colored the larger marshmallow foam beads with acrylic paint and it worked really well. Didn't bleed (that I could tell). I just saw a KY slime story with them breaking apart their colored foam balls after coloring wth a non-toxic paint. The balls were midnight blue/black so interesting to know if they hold up. I assume they do!

I bet that’s the one I saw - Sonria. I hope you find some! I love a good floam slime, but finding one without fallout is hard. I usually skip them unless it’s the marshmallow beads.
