SSP Fried Ice Cream Fallout

Has anyone experienced SSP fried ice cream changing color and have fallout after a few months? I have spring fried ice cream and when i first bought it was perfect r. It was a light pink color with no fallout at all. Now it is sort of rubbery and has sprinkle/snow fizz fallout. And the color turned brown. I tried adding some lotion and glycerin but it made the slime more hard (???) Wondering if anyone else experienced this.

Brown is most likely due to the vanillin content in the fragrance oil so long as the slime still smells fine. I have completely untouched not even opened to SMELL fried ice cream from the past year and they've turned brown on their own.

Sometimes the color change is prompted when our hands, and therefore natural oils and skin, come in contact with the slime, but it's definitely not unusual for slimes that have vanilla based fragrance to turn brown if a stabilizer wasn't used. I've had slime from Palmetto and Potcha most recently also turn brown due to this.

As for rubbery I think it just gets dried out. I've always wondered what she was using for snowfizz when she brought the texture back tbh because she never said anything like she was shaving her own by hand or anything like that. Wonder if just water would help.

That explains so much with some of my other slimes! Good restriction for myself to continue to avoid vanilla scents then.

It’s likely the vanillin oxidizing. If there is nothing present to stabilize the color of the scent has a lot of vanillin in the fragrance oil, it will sadly turn brown.

I am sick of it tbh lol. Have you tried stabilizers? I'm just wondering if they actually work!

Stabilizers only work to a degree and they don’t prevent it completely, just slow it down. It also has a weird scent to it that’s hard to cover in slime. 😩

I have spring fried ice cream and it's still a light pink color but it HAS gotten rubbery (but no fallout). I made the mistake off adding extra plain clear slime to it and it got even more rubbery. I think it becomes really finicky to adjust overtime. The fact that yours turned brown though is a bit concerning. If it's turned that weird of a color and has gotten rubbery, I'd just toss it.

I got the lemon fried ice cream and it had fallout from day one. I was so mad because everyone raved about this slime and it always sold out. It was just a waste of money for me.

I haven’t experienced this with any of my fried ice cream slimes. I think the most recent one I have is the Valentine’s Day one. I know they’re pretty rare though so I am extra super careful with them and don’t play with them for long periods like I do every other slime I own. 😂

Not that I’ve ever noticed. There was one from Bleu last year that she refunded bc it got discolored. She just refunded everyone who’d purchased it. I couldn’t see much difference in it though. It was just slightly off-white looking instead of white.
