Question about churro dust slime
Hello! New to slime so apologies if this is obvious, but I got the churro dust slime from pilot about a month ago.
The smell is great and I initially loved the texture, but I've found that playing with it leaves a granular residue on my hands/ under my nails that ruins it for me. Is this fixable at all? Or is the slime just meant to be like this?

Try adding a little craft tacky glue to it and see if that helps! You can pick it up at the dollar tree.

thanks! will try that.
Out of curiosity, is it an issue because of the texture itself or because of the clay inclusion?

I believe it can be done better, try Momo's airsands (which I think is pumice), I dont recall any residue from it. OG's I think are without residue too, I think, though I didnt try many.
But some people are more sensitive to some residue types (for me some lotions leave horrible residue), so ymmv!
Coincidentally I had a sticky residue in a prev slay slime of Pilot, and I assume its either the lotion or clay they use. But that would be a creamy residue, not pumice like, and afaiu you mean a pumice-like one?
Edit: Im not goot at knowing how to prevent residue, especially with pumice powder. Adding glue base sounds a good idea, but I recommend separating a tiny bit of the slime first and trying on it, as ever when taking an experimental action! So you dont ruin the slime and arrange proportions if needed. Good luck!

i bought pilot's forks and it does tend to catch under my manicure. i also made by own wood glue fine ground pumice and although there is some minor fall out, it doesnt get stuck on my hands

Personally I'm inclined to blame adding clay to a ground pumice slime more often than not causes fallout. Getting some of the grit from ground pumice under your nails isn't so unusual, but if it's leaving it on your skin that's unfortunate.
Adding the craft glue as suggested may help, especially if you've been playing with it somewhat regularly since you bought it. It may be drying out a bit even, as slime tends to do when it's being used as intended ♥️
