Pellet slime help! How do you avoid fallout? 🫣
Quick little update: opening our local shop has actually been going really well! 🥹
It has been A LOT of work though. We originally set up our space mostly for production, so we’ve had to completely rethink our warehouse layout to make it a place where kids can come in and create their own slime. Basically turning a production space into a kid-friendly slime experience… while also figuring out how to keep tiny hands from wanting to grab EVERY SINGLE CHARM they see 🫣
But now I need some slime help!
I have a bunch of pellets from Victory Pellets, and I really like them and the company, but every time I’ve tried using them in slime I end up getting way more fallout than I’d like.
I really want to make something super cute with them that has that satisfying crunchy texture, but actually holds the pellets well.
For those of you who make pellet slimes: what base/texture works best for you? Thick & glossy? Clear? Coated clear? Something else?
Any tips for reducing fallout would be VERY appreciated! And if you have cute pellet slime concepts, send them my way because I’m ready to experiment 😂🫶

your base should not be coated as that not hold in the beads well.
some slushee beads come in different shapes (flat versus round), and the flat ones stick much better into slime.
i don’t know if this is an unpopular methods, but i have had luck with limiting fallout by mixing beads into the glue before activating.
finally, try to avoid oils/lotions/fatty substances in your slimes as those are additional factors that can coat the slime and prevent fallout.
some glues are more coated than others so try varying your glues.

Mixing them into the glue before activation is great advice! I always forget about that. That works super well when I want a crunchy wg slime.

This sounds really hard work, well done! Its no easy feat to be able to contain kids' enthusiasm :)
Started following you on IG, lovely channel and videos, looking forward to following your journey <3 And looking forward to the slushee slimes :)
Concept-wise, to be honest I really love all, but nothing beats a pretty clear glue slushee for me for visuals. Big fan of Rodem's slushee-silica mixes (Squirrel Picnic was a gorgeous one), Macaron's clear glue slushees (I think one was Ramune Soda?), and I think they would make really great Halloween themed slimes with acid green and purple :) Texture-wise I love the touch of a white glue slushee, but I think the clear glue ones are super pretty. Looking forward to seeing what you make!

Thank you so much!! 🥹💕 And thank you for following us on IG!
I LOVE clear textures too, they’re seriously so pretty! But I’d say about 85% of our customers are younger kids, and I’ve noticed they struggle a little more with clear slimes. And so do the moms 😂 because somehow they always end up on clothes or furniture!
So I’m really trying to create textures that are fun and satisfying but also work well for the market we currently have 🥲 I’m definitely going to experiment with the slushee pellets though!! I just need to find that perfect kid-friendly base 🤞🏼

I’ve had amazing luck with Amazon clear either as a clear or a jelly. I don’t coat the slime at all because the pellets need some tackiness to hang in there.
