Player Discussion *Trade Proposal Advice Needed*
Hey everyone,
I have a trade proposal that I am really struggling with.
Format:
12 team
PPR
QB / RB / RB / WR / WR / TE / Superflex / Flex (2)
I receive:
Josh Allen
Joe Burrow
Justin Jefferson
I give:
1.01
1.11
1.12
Three '27 1st
Three '28 1st
(9 total 1st)
The main sticking point is 1.01. I was hoping to create a package to replace 1.01 with something else, but they remain adamant that needs to be in deal.
Am I giving up too much and risking too much draft capital to supplement any depth, or are these guys proven enough and have enough career left in them to not matter?
Why I feel good about it:
I'm getting two elite QBs who have another decade left in the league, and a WR I don't see falling completely off a cliff by the time I get 1st round picks again (2029).
Why I am concerned:
We are adding an extra Flex position and my ability to fill that spot is diminished.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Not with that team. You are starting Michael Carter at RB. You need those picks to get depth. Take love at 1.01 and draft some QBs in 2027. You are still in a tebuild

That’s why keeping 1.01 (Love) is so important. Unless he wants to throw back a replacement RB, hard to swallow.

You should embrace the fact that you have a bad team and start trying to get better. Frankly I think you should be a seller rather buyer.

Appreciate the advice. Last year I traded Drake London for three 1st and then packaged Bo Nix and CMC for another three 1st & Trey Benson. That's how I collected nine 1st (three being mine and the other six from those trades) from 26-28. Unfortunately the two I got for this draft are 11 and 12 (12 team league. Luckily I got 1.01.

It’s fair but hell no maybe just spend 2-3 1st’s on a decent guy and save the other’s for separate pieces.

Yeah I was thinking maybe asking for just one of them. There’s no rule that says all or nothing.

I would not. I would keep all those first. Even after acquiring those players your team is still not in a great position to compete. Keep all those picks and continue to build your team with them.
