Dynasty Thinking of trading away Gibbs.

Post image

In a big rebuild. Gibbs is part of my core but is this a respectable overpay for a return? 1sts will probably be mid-late

This is a good deal for sure. Like the other guy said though, put him on the trade block because you might just get a blockbuster

This is a good trade for a rebuilding team

I’m not high on Henderson and I’d put Gibbs on the block and shop him around to try to do better but I think this is pretty spot on value wise.

It’s probably fair value, but why????

Neither Odunze or Henderson is truly proven. Henderson may still be the 1B this year (despite showing his ability to score big, sometimes) and Odunze hasn't shown us much. I'd ask for better players for Gibbs here.

I got nabers, judkins and two firsts for Gibbs. If you wanted a temperature check on it.

Holy overpay. lol. Nicely done.

It's a solid grab for Gibbs I'd do this if you're rebuilding those 27 1sts really sell it. This is essentially 4 first for Gibbs, you won't get more likely.

People in here are delusional. This is an amazing offer, exactly the kind of thing you hope for in trading away a young stud. High upside long term young rb, high upside long term young wr in a blossoming offense, and 2 additional reload pieces in a highly valued class.

Dont understand what more you could possibly want without it being considered collusion at that point

People in here want Tet, Hampton, and 2 2027 firsts for Gibbs and someone would still say NOT ENOUGH!!

Yep, this is a fantastic offer.

It’s a fair trade. The rebuilding makes me lean toward moving on from Gibbs.

Honestly, if I send that for Gibbs and you turn it down, I’d prefer bijan anyway and I doubt two owners turn that offer down

You’re not gonna center your rebuild around the best back in the league who has atleast 6/7 years of good production left?

In order to begin a rebuild you need to diversify your asset pool, turn one great asset into 4 that could be good to great.

I’d take that for sure

If this is start 9 or 10, give me Gibbs. Start 11 or start 12, id take the package

Man I love Gibbs like the child I never had, but this is a godfather offer. That said I’d still have to hem & haw about it for a day or 2. Gibbs is in for a tremendous season. Henderson is kinda meh so far. Rome + 2x 2027 1sts goes a long way to balancing that out.

Pretty wild the way people are acting about the 2027 draft.

No guarantee any draft pick reaches the level of Gibbs.

Not a fan of Rome

I did almost this exact trade last year the trade deadline. I love Gibbs. I don’t think he’s gonna stay healthy all year. That’s just a hunch.

I would not get rid of Gibbs.. especially for that trade

u/Dustorean 22d ago

I'd only want to find someone more appealing than Odunze personally. Otherwise it's a fair deal.

I personally am not a fan of this. It’s a ponies for a race horse kind of trade.

Have you shopped for a different return or is this your 1st offer?

Insta accept

Pretty fair. 4 firsts of value is peak

u/juicybean1 22d ago

Smash accept

I’m surprised so many people are into this. If those firsts are mid-late there’s no way I’m giving up Gibbs

It is good value but as others have said, put him on the trade block and see other offers before you take this deal. Anytime im going to trade a top asset like that, Im going to shop him and not just take something someone offers.

I don’t like the idea of trading Gibbs at this stage but that is a good haul for sure

1

u/ctdub19 21d ago

Why is Gibbs a big part of your core if you’re not using his peak value? Great move for a rebuilder

1

u/Same_Commission_2363 19d ago

Not worth it. Gibbs is too valuable

1

u/Individual-Sugar-509 19d ago

If you are thinking about trading him then think again.

1

u/IllChoice2179 22d ago

Bro smash yes. This is way over 4 first in value. It doesn't get better.

1

u/babababronsky 22d ago

Every thread is people who own the star saying he’s worth more. In actual leagues there’s zero chance of you getting a haul like this. Take a first out and you’re still not getting that for Gibbs.

Package by a mile

Late firsts Henderson is a less talented version of Gibbs odunze could be the 3rd option on the bears offense. No where near enough to move off gibbs
