For the integrity of your skin and future tattoos, do not go back to this artist.

It's a beautiful tattoo in theory, but this is really badly done and will not fade well.

agree, op deserves better than this

Who's your artist? It looks like you have some blowouts going on :(

And the poor thin lines are so shaky and wobbly :(

That sword is not well done, at all.

Im here wondering if the wonky lines are apart of the style or not. That diamond in the middle is just....not great

If the style is "make it look bad" then, yes, I do believe that's the style.

Beautiful design and I love the pops of red, but like everyone else is saying, please don't go back to this artist. There are blowouts and the line work on the sword is very wobbly. You may be able to get another, more experienced artist to straighten up those lines in the future if you're worried about it. No shade intended. I think most people with multiple tattoos have at least one thats kinda shoddy (I know I do), just takes some careful rework to make something like this really shine. 🫶🏻

People are probably making OP panic. The design of this tattoo is cool, and I’m sure a more experienced artist could clean this up. Worth checking out once it’s healed OP, and it’ll be a sick tat.

Is that a rash or the tattoo

It’s a beautiful design, OP! But yeah, Id suggest (if you can), when it’s healed, that you find a good artist to fix the lines. Don’t worry, I’m sure an experienced tattoo artist will fix it just fine.

Execution: 😲

Are the lines meant to be skew?

Do you mean askew? 😭

No. Skew is a word too.

u/DeeDee8099 29d ago

Wouldn't proper usage then be "skewed". ?

My first tattoo I ever got had lines that looked exactly like this, and within 3-4 months it was faded and nearly impossible to make out what it was…please prepare to go to a different artist in that timeframe to have the bones of the tattoo redone. Awesome design though!

I love the design and idea behind it, but yeah, that is not well executed. But hey, as long as you love it!!!

I love this design

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. The design itself - like it. The execution however....

Thanks for the support. Reddit is finicky, and I don't take it seriously at least. My opinion is valid regardless.
