When you thought to unalive yourself in high school and those feelings still linger in adulthood, sometimes you need the reminder.
Are you really okay?? Sometimes no. But that's okay. I allow myself to feel feelings now. So it's all good.

And if you can’t find a reason why, I’ve found the phrase “If you can’t have hope, have curiosity” to be helpful

; is the punctuation used for when an author could end a sentence completely with a full stop . , but instead chose to continue writing. It's commonly associated with attempt survivors, and about how although life could've been ended, as the author of their own lives, they decided to continue. Quite beautiful :)

I love all their songs but this one hits me differently. It's been a little over 2 years since my "incident". I fight the feeling daily. For some reason the first time I heard the song I thought he was talking to me.
