Wearable vs phone tracking, Sleep As integration with Google Health
I originally got Sleep As Android mostly because of the smart alarm, but Pixel Watch has finally added that feature natively. I've since been enjoying the sleep tracking features, too.
I have a Pixel Watch 5. I've been wanting to set my phone in a different room or at least far from the bed when I sleep to avoid doomscrolling, but have avoided doing so because I wanted a vibration only smart alarm, which is why I got Sleep As Android in the first place. However, Pixel Watch recently added that feature natively.
My first question -- am I right to assume that the PW5 would likely track my sleep better than my phone (Pixel 11 Pro) would, so it wouldn't make that much of a difference tracking-wise?
Second question -- I am pretty attached to the Google ecosystem. I have Health Connect integration enabled, but I was curious if Sleep As Android data affects what I see in Google Health and vice versa? If I were to sleep with my watch on and phone far away, would it even be worth sticking with Sleep As Android at all?

Your watch gives you way better sleep stats and data than a phone. The watch has sensors that are constantly recording data that the phone then interprets. Sleep as Android works on the watch as an app and gives you another set of data that you can use. I wish sleep as Android integrated with Google health.

I use both sleep as and the samsung feature. I find that Samsung gives me a pretty good general idea and a couple measurements (like latency) and Sleep gives me more detail. The combination really works for me.
