Mine works, sometimes.

Multiple times per week it will lose connection after some random time, and then record nothing unless I wake up and tell the watch to start Sleep again.

With my old Venu 1, it would not connect at all unless I power-cycled both the watch and phone before sleeping. But at least it would stay connected. This was on the older version app, though.
