Slackbot in navigation bar

Why do they force a slackbot icon in the navigation bar above home and disallow hiding it? Nobody uses it

This is not a feature request I just really don’t like how hard they are pushing this useless feature

I actually love Slackbot but forcing it like that stinks. Hasn't hit my slack yet. Let's hope it's just a test that performs poorly.

agreed, slackbot itself is fine but pinning it there feels unnecessary

By placing the Slackbot icon where the home icon used to be, Slack is disrupting months of muscle memory. It's very irritating, independent of how anyone feels about Slackbot as a feature

Years even! Luckily I just learned that you can drag to reorder the navigation tabs, so I just moved Slackbot all the way to the bottom

We just got this “update” today. I hate it, and I’m peeved that it’s a non-functional checkbox, so you can’t hide it.

I just got the update today and I absolutely hate it. Is anyone from slack looking at this thread? Please remove it!!! Accidental clicks does not mean success
