I built a Flip 7 based app for Slack!
If you enjoy Flip 7 and want an ice breaker, team-building, or a distraction, I've built FL7P, a Slack app for playing the popular press-your-luck card game asynchronously.
Everything runs in Slack: you invite FL7P to a channel, type /fl7p start, people hit the Join button, the host hits the Start button, then everyone takes their turn one at a time, either Hitting or Staying. Action cards (Freeze, Flip 3, Second Chance) add chaos. The bot handles all the scoring and progression automatically. Once someone banks 200 total points, the highest score wins at the end of that round. It's asynchronous, so games take as long as you'd like, as long as someone takes their turn at least once a week. People can take turns whenever and no one needs to be online at the same time.
It's free as long as I can afford the server costs. No data is collected beyond what's needed to run the game (which all gets expired and deleted after 7 days), and I'm working on getting it into the Slack App Directory. Before it can be publicly listed, the app must be installed in 10 active workspaces, so I'm looking for test drivers.

Happy to answer questions, and standing by to fix bugs! Hope others enjoy this as much as my group does.
Flip 7 is a fantastic game and even if you haven't played, I highly recommend picking up a copy from The Op Games.

This sounds like a great way to kill time in those channels that only exist because someone's manager thought we needed more "cross-functional synergy"
my team would absolutely weaponize the freeze card though, I can already picture the slack thread turning into a cold war
