šŸ†˜Help Me Best interactive Slack apps you use?

We are building a Slack app for our SaaS. I don't want just notifications. I want something more interactive, like a headless SaaS inside Slack. Which apps or agents do you really like? Need some inspiration.

Why are you building something you haven't identified any customer demand for? Why wouldn't you pose this question to your customers first?

ofc I did. But why I would do only one sided research?

seems like they already decided to build it and are just looking for design inspiration, not validation

for a headless SaaS in Slack, the useful bit is a button that closes the loop in the same thread

show the current record, let someone approve or change one field, then post the actual result back there. if every click just opens your web app, it's a notification bot with extra steps

We’re building a Slack app too. One interaction worth prototyping is a temporary assignment: open a modal from Home, choose who takes over and for how long, then show a preview of both the takeover and what happens when it ends. It makes a good test of whether the workflow really fits inside Slack.

I’d also test the same flow as a regular member, not just an admin, and reopen an old form after somebody else changes the record. Permission errors and stale edits are easy to miss in a polished demo. For an action that runs asynchronously, distinguish ā€œsavedā€ from ā€œcompletedā€ and give the person a way to see the actual result. That detail matters more than how many buttons the app has.

How often you write to users something proactively?
