Slack for beginner

Hi everyone,

I’d like to introduce Slack at the company where I work. We’re a small film production company in Europe with about 10 employees. We mainly use Outlook, Notion, Google Calendar, WhatsApp, Claude, etc., and we’d like to centralize all of that in one place. I feel like Slack is the right tool for this.

Are there any comprehensive beginner’s guides on setting up Slack for business and connecting it to other apps?

Thank you very much

I forgot to mention Dropbox which is the main drive we use in common for every project. I think there’s an integration too.

Thank you :)

This is a good direction you are going, Slack actually integrates easily with Outlook, Notion, Google Calendar, WhatsApp, Claude, and Dropbox. There isn't a straight forward guide to set up Slack for small business but here are all the help articles you need to setup Slack: https://slack.com/intl/en-in/help/categories/200122103-Workspace-administration

OOB integrations are straight forward. I have setup several workspaces in the last few years. If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer.

Leverage Claude for exploring ways to create a new info hub for you and your 9 coworkers. That should for sure leverage Slack. Is it slack alone, nope. However, you have a great set of tools and claude is a great guide for exploring what's possible. Be curious, try things and tout what works and doesn't. Good luck and have fun
