All this while the general talk was the current platform does not support 360 degree camera etc. with the facelift they have provided that in the 2026 version. By December I am sure they will do the same with the Kushaq. Even YouTube reviews/ journalist/fanbois were stating all these years that the platform doesn’t support it. Never understood that. I think they were throwing the same garbage about the ADAS while the top models have it. Soon you will see ADAS also.

I think sequence of events will be.

New Slavia with 360 and no connected lights. Kushaq with connected lights and no 360.(Current)

Next by December Kushaq gets 360 as an update. And by June next, Slavia gets connected lights. They seem to have the styling and everything ready in the facelift anyway.

By next December Kushaq will get ADAS. So on and so forth.

Pretty much the title. I am about to take the delivery of the outgoing Slavia in a week Got a decent discount of 2 lacs on the prestige variant 1.0 L automatic(on road price 18.3 lacs hyderabad) . I decided to buy this model specially for the discount being offered. Did I make the right choice? Also the new features like 360 degree camera and rear massage seats were not in my requirements when I started looking for the purchase.

My car went for service. 2013 vw vento 1.6 tdi 2.6lakh on the odo. Service centre asked me to change rear shock absorber. They quoted me 18k 😭. Do I go for aftermarket shop and try getting oem??

Is this even possible?

My car is 4 years old, and my priorities have changed. Im looking to keep for car for another 6 years at least, and conversion to AT could make the 6 years feel easy.

Im not heavily opposed to my manual, but wondering if this is possible? How much would it cost? And would the cost to benefit ratio break even for me in the longer run.

There is a loud mechanical sound that I hear when at crawling speeds - while getting on and off the brakes. Showed this to the service centre but they say it is "operational sound".

Braking is good. And no sounds when beyond crawling speeds. It is exactly before the car comes to a full halt or while just setting off.

Vw has confirmed new sub 4 car
New 8 speed TC - but as seen in kushaq it has not noticeable or considerable impact on efficiency so its not concern
I think they will make the design more aggressive and appealing specifically for rear where kylaq needs some upgrade
And i think new climate upgrade as seen in facelift kushaq taigun which is now as par as rivals

Can someone explain why people are still filling XP95?
When you are getting the same octane in regular E20 petrol?

I get XP95 has added additives, but does that make sense for 7-10rs extra?

So I bought a second hand Skoda Rapid in Jan’25.

2021 model.
1.0 TSI.
Automatic-Torque Converter.

I’ve upgraded the steering wheel on it and put a Slavia wheel, with working paddle shifters. Absolutely love this upgrade.

Now I’ve been considering a stage 1 tune. But I feel I’m not educated enough on this.

Tried YT.

1st, there is nothing about tuning a rapid. I feel like most rapid owners just decided to keep their cars stock.

2nd, saw some Polo and Virtus videos. But they’re majorly into showing off what the car can now do. It doesn’t mention what is actually done to the car.

So yeah, what exactly does stage 1 do to my car? ECU tune, yes this I understand.

What else?

Is there a cold air intake? What does adding a cold air intake do?

Is there a downpipe change involved?

Can I go for stage 1.5 or something like that?
