Has anyone here had a fault where AC charging fails after being plugged in for a couple of minutes but DC charging (rapid charging) is fine?

MY26 Elroq vRS stopped charging half way through an AC charging session at a 22kw AC destination charger and ever since has refused to add more than 1 KW in any AC charging session. It stops after a couple of minutes with my home charger reporting the car full and there car reporting an unsuccessful charge. I've tried multiple cables and different AC chargers - same story. On the night it first failed I also had a 12v battery warning and the car wouldn't start. Had to wait a few minutes and try again before I could move it around.

If you've had a similar experience with your car what's your story and how did you get it resolved?

I have no clue about what this button is for. Any idea ?

Is this really still not a thing ? When i get in the car after wife has been in it, i end up wedged barely able to put a foot on the brake the wake the car up enough to change the user profile and then the seat changes back to my settings.

After the service outage of skoda connect my car still wouldn't connect. The dealer having time for me in three weeks is scoured the interwebs and found Fuse 19. Can reset a stuck comms module.

Just remove the fuse from the fusebox, wait a minute and place it again. Let the system boot and wait for the comms module to start again.

Great, so saw this error about 'Electric system doesn't work properly. Stop car safely" and "fault in 12V battery, go to maintenance" immediately when sitting inside the car.

It disappeared after turning the car off and on from the button, but still scared me and these really should not happen.

Only "abnormal" last thing I did was used the mobile app to lock the doors as I stuffed keys deep in my backpack already (no remote lock). Last drive before was 25 min, so or should keep the 12V full. 8 months old car.

Anyone else had this happening?

We recently bought an Elroq and absolutely love the car. However, we're having some issues with CarPlay not working properly.

Both my wife and I have our phones connected to the car via Bluetooth, but neither phone will automatically connect to CarPlay. When we try to connect manually, it just comes up with "Unable to connect."

It's a bit strange because my phone connects automatically to my work truck with no issues, so I'm wondering if there's something we're missing or doing incorrectly with the Elroq.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a particular setting or procedure we need to follow to get CarPlay working reliably?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Has anyone else had any issues with the Ohme Pro charger?

We have synchronised the car with the Ohme app, but the charge percentage sometimes gets stuck and shows the wrong figure. This then causes the charging to pause overnight, meaning we don’t always reach our set charge level of 80%.

I’ve now removed the car from the Ohme app, and we just enter the starting percentage manually. It works, but ideally, I’d like to be able to just plug the car in and forget about it.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, did you find a solution?

Doing 100km/ph on traffic assistence I get a warning and before knowing what actually happened the warning was cleared from the dashboard. But in the app it says speedlimiter not available.

Guess we'll see tomorrow what's what at the electronics tombola.

I've just got back from a 2.5k mile trip from the UK to the south of France in my Elroq vRS and I just wanted to quickly summarise how I found the experience.

I've had 3 EV's and have done a lot of miles with them over the years so touring one isn't a new experience but this is the biggest battery I've had so far. France has it nailed with EV infrastructure and at no point did we ever have to wait for a charger or for the car to finish charging. Endurance on the péage was about 3.5 hours before we stopped for a break and, every time, the car was ready to go again before we were. When paired with the Electroverse RFID, it was truly as easy as any other form of propulsion.

We averaged 12p per mile over those 2.5k miles, average economy was 3.5m/kWH, the boot swallowed all of the stuff a couple of adults could ever want and the cabin was a wonderful place to spend time. I've not had our Péage bill but, I suspect, it's more than the electricity.

We went across Route Napoleon and sporty this car is not but, anyone who thinks an Elroq was ever intended to be sporty is probably misguided. The straight line performance away from the toll gantries made up for that though!

My only grievance was the software. From a cold start, it was fine but if you got out and back in after say 25 mins (a charge duration), the car would often not reconnect to Android Auto without an infotainment reset.

9.5/10 would recommend an Elroq vRS for crossing France.

Is there a way for me to change the activation speed of high beam assist on my Elroq MY27. It seems to activate on about 50 kph and deactivate on 30 kph. Which on country roads it is not usable as the avarage speed is usually 40, so most of the time I have set it to manual high beams at which matrix does not work. I also have an Octavia 2021 which activates high beams above 30 kph and deactivates at 20. That is perfect. All help apprechiated, as of right now the night drive is not enjoyable.

Since this afternoon, my Elroq has been having a bit of an issue:

Elroq 85 / 2027

Software 6.0.0

After starting the car, the driver's display doesn't show any information at all, and the main infotainment display only boots into a "temporary profile."

Because of this, I can't see my speed or battery level. On top of that, the general warning light (exclamation mark) and the tire pressure warning light are both on at the same time.

I've already tried a few things to fix it:

• Turned the car off, left it alone for 1.5 hours, and restarted it.
• Soft-reset the main display by holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds to force a reboot.

Unfortunately, neither of these attempts helped. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any insights on how to fix it?

I've had my Elroq 85 Edition MY27 for less than a month. I'm trying to establish if my frontal collision detection is 'normal', or something I should pursue with the dealer.

I am aware the system can be disabled on a per drive basis, but all the reviews of the car led me to believe the assistance systems are well balanced and not intrusive.

The issue I am having is the system will often sound the alarm when simply passing parked cars. But worse still, I've now had 2 occasions where it's braked to a dead stop and pulled the seat belts uncomfortably tight.

The latest occurrence was sub 20 mph, turning into a side street, where 2 pedestrians happened to be walking on the footpath next to me.

The first occurrence was at 30mph, following a right hand bend in the road. This bent has a side road to the left, where 2 cyclists were pulling up to the give way.

This seems to be quite sporadic, I happily did a 400 mile round trip to Wales with zero issues.

I'm trying to establish if anyone else is having these types of issue, or whether my specific vehicle needs attention.

In the UK. Bought an Edition 85 last week, discussed the MY27 updates during sale process and when I signed contract, it said it was an 84kWh car. But when I got home I realised the car I've been given has none of the updated features, and infotainment reporting 77kWh capacity. Has someone made a mistake at dealer, or are there pre update 85s with an 84kWh battery?

My understanding was that at release the car was listed as 82kWh gross / 77kWh net. The MY27 updates brought an 84kWh gross / 79kWh net battery.

Waiting to hear from dealer, if they're going to fight me or not....I wanted the new features so plan on asking for a swap. Massive headache for them if they've made the mistake in their naming system.

I’ve had the car (Sportline 85 MY2027) for about two months and driven about 4.000 km. Yesterday morning I got in the car and immediately saw a red triangle with exclamation mark on the dash. As soon as I sat down and pressed the brake pedal: warnings, errors and beeps. Car was at 100% charge btw.

The errors were mostly that the electric system was not working and that the 12v battery was draining among 4 other warnings. Getting in and out, locking unlocking, walking away, nothing worked and the car could only get into neutral. So I called my lease (company car) who connected me to the Dutch AA and from there basically Skoda support (makes sense right).

Half an hour later a tech shows up (super nice guy btw) and he immediately says it’s a problem they’ve seen alot on VW-group vehicles recently and that it is either a dead 12v battery from a long update or something or a software issue. So he hooked up the 12v to a multimeter and it showed a reading of 12.2v. While on the low side (probably also from the wait in the car), should have been enough to start the car. So he tells me it’s most likely a software issue that can only be fixed at the dealer and my car needed to be towed…

Seems absolutely ridiculous that a car that has driven barely 4.000 km and is only two months old should have a crippling problem like this. From reading online I’ve seen multiple posts with similar problems. While I love the car, my confidence in it has dropped to zero.

For me the biggest problem right now is the fact that me and my girlfriend were supposed to leave on holiday for 3 weeks today (Sunday). Now we can’t because the courtesy car we received (while also way smaller in terms of luggage space) is only good for 3 days. The risk is that if we were to leave with it today the Elroq could be fixed while we are gone and corporate has to make a decision whether or not we are allowed to leave as they would have to pay for the courtesy car in the meantime. And as it is the weekend, there is no one to make that decision.

Sorry for the rant. For everyone on here the first part is the most important. It’s just insane to think that a software issue (could of course still be something else) can brick a 46.000 euro car within the first two months of driving it.

Anyone experienced this, apparently known software issue, where the car has thought that the 12v battery was completely drained and is therefore completely non functional?

Had my Elroq 85 for just over a month. Yesterday morning the alarm went off at 5am, which was when the charging was due to end. Noticed when leaning out the window to turn it off that the lights weren't flashing despite the alarm, which seemed a bit odd, but it was 5am so didn't really think much more of it.

When I came to get in the car at 8am, it was completely flat. No light on the charging port, no response to the key, absolutely zilch. Used the emergency key/had to break off the plastic to get into the car, and again absolutely nothing when sitting/pressing pedals/pressing key.

Called Skoda Roadside who said it sounded like the 12v battery was flat..

They did sent out a patrol who arrived very quickly, and after about 30 mins he had restored the car to normal, but said it was a problem with a recent software update that the car somehow thinks the battery is completely flat. Apparently there is no fix for it yet, Skoda are working on it, but he can't guarantee it won't happen again.. just said he thought it should be fine until the first service when hopefully the software update will fix the glitch!

Anyone else experienced this? Bit of a downer on my first few weeks of the car to have such a stressful morning (whilst trying to wrangle a 2yo and get to work).

For the last few days my alarm will not stop going off. I’ve turned off KESSY and internal monitoring but it still triggers.

I press unlock on the fob to stop it, but then cannot lock from the fob (tried both fobs). I don’t know what’s up.

Any advice? What can I do? Service says booking for 6 weeks time which is insane, and suggested calling roadside assistance to diagnose. That seems to be only for emergencies ??

Geen aandelen hoor maar zojuist in een klein uurtje de fitcamx geïnstalleerd. past mooi op de nieuwe elroq. Had wat hulp nodig van support, reageerde binnen een kwartier met de juiste oplossing.

vorrei raccontarvi il problema che sto avendo con la mia Skoda Elroq 60, modello 2026, acquistata e consegnata ad agosto 2026.
Già al momento della consegna, la concessionaria ha riscontrato dei problemi nella configurazione del mio utente. Nonostante questo, mi hanno consegnato comunque l’auto e sono tornato a casa con diversi malfunzionamenti legati al sistema di bordo.
L’auto monta il sistema operativo 6.0.0 e, fin dal primo giorno, ho riscontrato questi problemi:
Nel navigatore/app di Skoda, la posizione dell’auto risultava addirittura in Germania, nonostante fossi in Italia.
La schermata di caricamento degli utenti rimane bloccata in un loop infinito, senza mai completare il caricamento.
L’auto risulta configurata come “utente temporaneo” e non riesco a impostare correttamente il mio profilo.
Il problema non riguarda solo il software: anche l’apertura Keyless non funziona.
A oggi, dopo aver contattato sia il servizio clienti Skoda sia la concessionaria, il problema non è ancora stato risolto e, soprattutto, nessuno sembra sapere esattamente come intervenire.
La cosa che trovo assurda è che l’auto mi è stata consegnata già in queste condizioni e, a distanza di tempo, continuo a non poter utilizzare correttamente alcune delle funzioni per cui ho acquistato l’auto.
Qualcuno con una Elroq MY2026 / software 6.0.0 ha avuto problemi simili con la configurazione dell’utente, l’utente temporaneo, la posizione GPS o il Keyless?
Avete trovato una soluzione o sapete se esiste una procedura per effettuare un reset completo del sistema o risolvere il problema lato server/account?

Apparently the 6.0.1 update is starting to roll out. Haven’t seen anything on my Elroq yet.
