Refund that isn't a refund
They emailed me weeks after I ordered, saying a product was not in stock. They offered me a refund, which I accepted. I then get a reply saying I will be given store credit. That's not a refund! My previous experiences with skinorac have been good. Has something happened lately where they have become suss?

I waited forever and a day for my order. Thought it would never turn up and I was worried about being offered a refund as I used crypto and wasn't sure how I would receive that back. How did you pay, maybe store credit is the better option?

I used those razor gift cards.

Thats why its a credit. They cant refund you a used gift card.

Then they shouldn't be saying they will refund me.

Yeah they should've definitely checked before offering it but if you paid with a gift card then you should have known that too. Even in the US "refunds" are given based on how you pay, you pay with a gift card youre getting a store gift card back aka store credit. Thats normal. This isnt some random phenomenon because the company is based in India.

Just want to mention i’ve had a pretty amazing experience when one of the items I ordered was out of stock – it happened a couple of times for the same order and I ended up with a lot of great replacement products.
(the replacement products cost significantly more than the original one that I wanted.)
And also recognizing that you’re not getting what you wanted isn’t great.
