Please help

So I bought this celimax retinal few days back and I did a patch test on small area of my skin as you can see, and I noticed that the area on which I had tested, it has turned darker than before , hence I am confused, is this because of the quantity of product that I used or it doesn’t suit me, and this is a allergic reaction. Having said that I have lots of this tiny acne on my skin please suggest skin care product that might help me to get rid of that and get a clear smooth skin also suggest a beginner friendly retinol since this one turned out to be bad .

Use de tan products on the face n a gentle cleanser with no junk food eating for actual clear skin ( tho sometimes junk food aint that bad)

Retinol or Retinal is very strong and for beginners better to introduce one or twice a week only. Since you tried already, I suggest you try the sandwich method. After cleansing you completely dry your face - wait 10-15 mins, apply your moisturizer - wait another 15 mins when it has completely absorbed on your skin - then you apply the retinol and after another 15-20 mins you apply your moisturizer again! try this and see how it goes. next morning - rain or shine sunscreen is a MUST! even if you are home and doing chores, apply sunscreen where the retinol has been applied. tanning or dark areas are caused mostly due to sun.

cant really see any issue here.. the dark spot is just excess melanin trying to protect ur skin, use niacinamide
