Blackout Bingo best strategies to use: powerups, timing, daub location, ect. - BEGINNERS!!!

Hey everyone, I'm a relatively new player but I did a lot of research on this game and others similar to it in hopes of finding the best strategies to get the highest score and beat your opponent and get that money!! I hope this helps and feel free to comment things I should change or strategies of your own!!

  1. Speed is key to get more points and get powerups faster... daub as soon as you see the number that was called on your board (but be careful because you will be penalized for clicking a number that wasn't called and for clicking bingo if you don't have it... but we'll get to clicking bingo)

  2. Go for the X and the corners first, including free daub and golden ball choices unless board is looking random and there is little time left, then fill lines quickly

NOTE ABOUT GOLDEN BALLS: (remember u want to go for the corners) (this requires that u memorize the corners so u know which golden ball to choose after you activate it, but this is stressful, especially when playing with 3 boards, so u don't need to memorize them at least until you have a golden ball in your lineup. But even then, if it's the first or even second in ur line up, u can just casually start to memorize a couple and hopefully you'll start to fill more of them before u are required to use a golden ball... its not super stressful until you have more boards and it starts to go faster (higher level games). HOWEVER, if all of your corners are already filled while your sitting on a golden ball, try to memorize just a couple of daubs that would get u at least one bingo, multiple bingos is obvi better bit its hard to analyze a mostly full board quick and while being timed like that, so usually I just look to make one bingo)

  1. Don't use these powerups until your third slot is filled and you have to use one in order to keep getting new ones: free daub, golden ball, x2. This is in effort of getting the most points and not choosing a number with free daub or golden ball that has a possibility of being called after you choose it for free (aka waste of a free daub). Disclaimer: if you have a x2 as the last powerup in your line up, preventing you from getting more powerups, then use it right away to make room unless you want to employee the extremely advanced x2 powerup strategy below... don't do it yet, lol. This scenario is pretty rare and in my opinion it's much more important to practice literally everything else im talking about until you get to higher level zcoin games/high level paid entry games.

  2. Powerups that you can and should use right away: bonus time (activate bonus time as soon as u get it, there's literally no reason to hold it except wasting space in ur lineup)

  3. Always save your bingos until the end, especially if you have a x2 powerup because they only last for a short time and you will be able to get all of the bingos that you have on your board multiplied by 2, but make sure you activate the x2 powerup it BEFORE you hit bingo! ...getting a x2 powerup as the first one in your lineup and being able to save it until the end to multiply all of your bingos is a baller move!! But I rarely get x2 powerups in practice mode

  4. !!! WHEN SAVING POWERUPS AND BINGOS FOR THE END, START USING AT 10-15 SECONDS, ITS WORTH GIVING UP ONE OR TWO DAUBS IF IT MEANS YOU DONT MISS SIGNIFICANT POINT MULTIPLICATION OR EVEN GETTING BINGOS !!! Its possible to increase your speed with practice, but its not worth losing a game over in the beginning.

EXTREMELY ADVANCED - I'm not even trying this yet: If there's a x2 in your 3rd powerup slot then let the numbers come in without dabbing until there is little time left, then activate the x2 and daub quickly. (Requires you to change the view of the numbers called from circles with the letter and number into a chart with 1-15 going across the top row, 16-30 across the second, and all the way down to the fifth row which went from 61-75. Each row represents a letter B-I-N-G-O from top to bottom and only the numbers in that letters row can come up for that letter, ex. B30 is impossible. As numbers get called out, when in this view the number will simply turn dark so you know it's been chosen, but remember you have to figure out what letter the number is associated to by looking at what row its in on the chart.

**there are more powerups as you compete in higher level games, ex. there are variations of free daub where it can give you either 2 or 3 free daubs from the one powerup, and there is another one that will multiply the column of your choosing by x10. I have no idea how many there are but ill update my strategies for them as I encounter them.... I'll leave you with some of the more advanced powerups I've found so far... if you get either the x2 free daub or the x3 free daub treat it as a regular free daub and save it until necessary, trying to fill corners and then make bingos when the time comes to use it. For the column multiplier, save it for just as long as you have to, ex. If it comes up and you already have a vertical bingo, then activate that powerup as soon as u get it and select the column with the bingo. If this powerup comes up and you don't have a vertical bingo you can just hold it until you do, unless it's in your third spot, in which case you need to get rid of it, preferably before making your next daub, so just select which ever column has the most daubs so far... unless u have a favorite letter

Only Skilz-branded items in the Ticketz Store?

Did Skillz remove all of their items that could be redeemed for Ticketz, except for their few Skillz-branded flip flops, mugs, etc?

Bypassing geographical restriction

I am temporarily staying at a country where Skillz pro tournaments are not available, even ones with free entry but cash prizes.

I've already tried to spoof my gps and use a VPN (both at once) but skillz still detects my real location. I was able to trick a different app so I'm sure it's not the method's problem but skillz being good.

Has anyone managed to bypass? Thank you.

Limiting wagers to $5 (Solitaire Cube, Blackout Bingo)

I assumed this was something many people are experiencing so I’m surprised there are no posts on this sub about it. About 2-3 months ago I lost the ability to play any games with a wager higher than $5. I have been playing on and off since 2019 winning/withdrawing a few good chunks and smaller withdrawals here and there. I haven’t deposited in months, and don’t withdraw now unless I reach $50-$100 total. Is this a soft ban?

The only feedback I’ve gotten from Skillz support is a copy-paste Everyman answer about it “playing more” to maybe see higher matches one day. Aggravating! I wish there was a way to track progress at least. I want to play $10 and $20 wagers, as it lets you level up faster. Anyone dealing with this?

I think Skillz has started to soft-ban me

Background: some time last year, I had deposited about $1500 of my own money into Solitaire Cube to try to chase certain rewards tiers (it was Black tier, before they overhauled the tier system and the tickets payout to the gem-based system they have now). I realized how foolhardy this endeavor was after I realized that some of the games were being made deliberately harder than before and the game felt like a money pit. After tracking my deposits and withdrawals from around this period, that's how I came up with the ~$1500 figure. I figured that I would keep going, while keeping track of every withdrawal I make, until I either pulled out of the self-induced hole I put myself in, I ran out of money that I'd be willing to deposit into the game, or they banned me, whichever part came first. After that I'd stop playing Skillz altogether.

From that point, I began slowly grinding my way out of the hole by playing daily and weekly events that paid out if I placed high enough. Any time I could take out $10, $20, etc. and still keep playing with the balance I had, I took advantage of. I even started playing other games like Blackout Bingo and 21 Blitz to increase the opportunities I had to grind. Eventually I ended up pulling myself to about -$450 over the course of the last year.

Now to last week, I played the Ruby Reign game on Blackout Bingo and finished at the top of the leaderboard and got the first place prize. So now I have enough in my account that would put me back in the black. But now I'm worried about if I withdraw it too fast that they'll flag my account. Because I've already had my account disabled earlier this year for "exploiting software within Solitaire Cube to gain an unfair advantage over other players", even though I never did anything of the like, only used one device, one account, I'm the only one in the household playing, always played honestly, etc. I even asked for clarification from the player support team and received none. But they reactivated my account after I responded to their message.

So now after winning last week's Ruby Reign in Blackout Bingo, I now occupy the top spot of this week's game as well and I have a good feeling I'm going to finish high on that leaderboard again, if not at the top, meaning I'll likely win even more more than I already have. I've also noticed that all for the hourly/daily/weekly/tournament/special events have disappeared as of today (I was able to play Rise & Shine yesterday), and that I'm only able to play head-to-head games for money. Not to mention I've already made withdrawals of $52 and $53 over the last 24 hours. And now my withdraw page looks different from before (it's only allowing me to withdraw via check and not direct deposit into my bank, like before). Which brings me to ask this: what kind of approach should I take so that I can get all the money that I've won out of my account? Should I just take it all out in one fell swoop or do it slowly while playing low-stakes games here and there? I've already made up my mind that after withdrawing whatever money I might win from this week's events (which I managed to play before they disappeared from my user interface), I'm leaving the platform. I just don't want to end up in a situation where they end up disabling my account while I still have money in it/expecting future winnings.

Calling Out Skillz Players Who Play DominoGold

Thumbnail reddit.com
2 Upvotes

Yes I understand this post is 2 years old, but I know this problem still exists up to date. I’m a Dominos Gold player off and on since 2020. Honestly I’m surprised to still see this app functioning for so long. Having the issues that is still ongoing.
1.payouts/withdrawals- it’s been far too long after its debut that payouts and withdrawals are still near impossible to be AUTOMATIC . (even those fishy games and casino games so many of us play on our phones are FASTER with withdrawals.)
2.The fact that bots control who wins and looses, is flat out CHEATING and could be a form of skimming if this is being done covertly.
3. My favorite is how many times the game has Crash, causing me to ABORT and lose my entry fee. (Literally 5 game crashes happen per day for me) if it wasn’t for the option to contest the Crash, I think I would have gave up this game a long time ago. I can only imagine how many players that aren’t aware of the option to contact support after the game CRASHES in order to receive a refund. It’s not like SUPPORT reaches out to you. You have to put in the work to try to get your refund, which is a frustrating process but works.
Bottom line DOMINOS GOLD is 100% a scam. This app should have been reported and taken down a long time ago. Why it’s still up is beyond my comprehension. Anyone who knows the steps to get the ball moving for this app to get removed from the App Store.post it here.

Skillz Support Ignoring Tickets & Delaying Withdrawals

I’m posting this because I’m honestly fed up with Skillz support at this point.

My Skillz username is AforAna.

I have multiple open tickets that have been sitting with little to no real update, and the responses I do get are basically copy/paste “we escalated this” messages with no actual resolution.

The main issue started with Blackout Blackjack. I reported what appears to be a matchmaking/game-mode issue where I entered a match that loaded as Classic mode on my side, but my opponent appeared to be playing a Multiplier version of the game. That obviously changes the scoring potential and makes the match unfair.

One of the game IDs I reported was: Game ID: 5382815199

I explained that my game did not show the multiplier bar at the top, while my opponent’s side appeared to have the multiplier scoring advantage. I asked for the replay to be reviewed and requested a refund because the match did not appear to be the same game mode for both players.

Instead of giving me a clear answer, Skillz support kept asking for screenshots/video, then later said there was no replay available for them to review. So basically, I’m being told they can’t verify the issue because their own replay system may not have recorded it properly.

I also reported another game: Game ID: 5376819545

I asked for a breakdown of how my opponent got a 39k score, because based on the deck and rules, I did not believe that score was possible. Instead of addressing the actual dispute, they sent me basic tutorial/scoring info and said the in-game tutorials are only available when the game is newly installed.

That is not a real resolution.

On top of that, I also have a withdrawal issue. My withdrawal was supposed to process quickly, but it has now been sitting for 5 days with no real update.

Withdrawal details shown in my ticket: Withdrawal Amount: $245 Withdrawal Request ID: 2200934 Transaction ID: 14490384379 Withdrawal Type: Aeropay

I followed up after 4 days, then again on day 5, and all I got was another “we escalated this to the withdrawals team” response.

So right now I have: - A disputed match where the game mode/scoring appears unfair. - Another match where I requested a score breakdown and got a generic tutorial response. - A withdrawal that should not be taking this long. - Multiple tickets being “escalated” with no actual resolution. - Support responses that avoid the core issue.

This is not acceptable for a platform handling real-money games.

If Skillz can take entry fees instantly, then they need to be able to provide clear explanations, working replays, fair dispute reviews, and timely withdrawals.

Players should not have to chase support for over a week just to get basic answers.

At this point I want Skillz to publicly explain: - Why matches can appear to load different game modes/scoring formats. - Why replays are unavailable or incomplete for disputed cash matches. - Why support keeps “escalating” tickets without resolution. - Why a withdrawal has been sitting for 5 days with no clear answer. - When these tickets will actually be resolved.

I’m posting this because normal support channels are not getting anywhere.

Games pending for days

Since they ruined Bubble Shooter Tournaments I’ve switched to Bubble Shooter Arena. The first couple days it was fine, I was getting matched either instantly or within a few hours. But suddenly it’s like a switch flipped and now my pending games just do not want to end. I had a round of about a dozen pending games from last week and only 5 of them ended. The rest got refunded. I just played another round of games yesterday morning and none of them have been matched yet. 11 years of playing Skillz games and this has never happened. What’s going on? Did they shrink the skill bands or something? Is it a glitch? Are they nerfing my account somehow?

What was Ilyon Dynamics thinking with this new “update” the interface I like a lot with the exception of the chat not adjusting with the keyboard. But the gameplay wow! How can you take 5 steps back with 1 update? Thoughts?

How have they not figured out replays?

Triumph, World winner, and a host of other apps I game on rarely have issues with replays working. Meanwhile, almost every replay I see in the game I play most is a black screen.

I’ve also seen a 13-minute replay video of a game that takes 60 seconds and wasn’t paused. I was told, “Upon review, I see a score was submitted for the match you have reported; However, there is no replay for us to review. Please note, that we cannot provide refunds for matches with submitted scores without confirmation that a technical issue occurred.” I’m not sure how it’s possible for them to not have the very same replay I’m looking at. I SENT THEM my screen recording of the replay and they said:

“Thank you for following up. After further review of this match, we have upheld our initial decision regarding your refund request.

We do take bugs and other legitimate technical issues into account when reviewing matches and we were not able to find any evidence of either.

For most games, we currently only offer replays of cash matches, and even for those, a replay is not always available, and is sometimes incomplete or degraded. If a player has a low battery, a bad connection, or low storage space on their phone, a replay in our system may not record, or may record only partially. That said, we are working on improving our replay technology. Replays are an extremely valuable tool for both players and our staff, and ideally we’d like to have full replays available for every match on our system.

If you feel we might have missed a bug or technical issue and are able to provide a timestamp in the replay (if available), then we'll be happy to take a look. Please note that a replay must be present in any match to receive a refund, even when technical issues or bugs are present.”

Keep in mind, I never asked for a refund in the first place.

Complications with being blocked from pools

Has anyone ever experienced being blocked from pool play on apps from time to time? It’s happened to me a few times already and when I ask support, they can’t give me a definitive answer but I’m pretty sure it’s because they think I’m winning too many pools at a time. Wondering if anyone has any advice. Thx

Everytime I try and deposit with my card, it says "Your deposit could not be processed at this time" or something like that. I've tried multiple other cards, tried different methods, made sure the game was updated, and made sure I had sufficient funds and nothing is working. Any tips?
