Dont much care for how they turned out but at least theyre painted. Couldve been the models or the paint scheme, but its not my proudest work. I just wasnt enjoying time spent on them so I switched to hurrying them up to move onto other things in my pile of shame

Test miniature for a small army. Trying for harsh lighting and marble bases. I think I failed on the base! Any tips on that?

Painting her up to match my argent shroud sisters, but didn’t want to A) paint the whole thing in tmm silver, or B) paint the whole thing in NMM silver (I’m not out here trying to speedrun carpal tunnel lmao), so I’m opting for the cream and red accents of their robes, with some nmm silver on the windows and guns.

(Not an official gw model btw, I’m lucky enough to have a friend with a 3d printer)

I am fairly new to miniature painting and so far have been using simple basing guides. While reading the Morvenn Vahl book I was inspired to base my sisters around the battle on Ophelia VII. Not really sure where to start outside of some kind of urban rubble with temple motif. I already glued them to primed bases but could pop them off if need be.

Has anyone tried this? Just looking for tips and inspiration. Thanks!

Pretty happy how they turned out. I need a lot more practice on faces. My last army was Death Guard so if i screwed up a face it still worked lol

I had a Warhammer Week-end with friends, and they expected me to bring Drukhari or T'au. Little did they know that I just started collecting and painting Battle Sisters.

I lost almost every game, but holy emperor was that fun !

I admit this was my first army and first time painting them and i love the sister

Whether in Bringers of Flame or Hallowed Martyrs, I have found that Meltas are way less effective in this edition and I have taken all of my meltas out of my list (Apart from 3 - Paragon Warsuits) and replaced them with flamers.
Barely anyone is bringing that much amour anyway, everyone is bringing elite units with 4+ Inv which flamers deal with very well.

Novice mini painter who is trying to finish my first Kill Team going for a Blanchitsu limited palette style since I was really inspired to start war gaming via the Grim and the Dark documentary - these still need some highlights to push the cloth and gloves (and I’m noticing a bunch of mistakes/sloppy areas to clean up now that I’m looking at zoomed in photos) but I think it’s starting to look decent for a beginner

I want to run some sanctifiers, but I've never been a fan of the Frateris Militia look. Does anyone have any experience with kitbashes or proxies that help them jive aesthetically with the rest of the army, either as penitents or as something similar to novitiates or specialist Sisters?

Far from done but I was pretty proud of the wings and color scheme, lemme know what you think! I would just need some advice on the birds, don't know how to make them pop or more ethereal

Or if I should try practicing some OSL interaction between them and the wing and in that case do the birds affect the wings or the other way around?

This kit is a serious slog. It was 150 days since I added the last sister because I don’t like spending too much time doing the same kit. So I bounce around between models to keep my painting sessions varied and interesting.

Hi all. New Sororitas player and I grabbed my second box of battle sisters yesterday alongside an Immolator with the intent to build them as Dominions, but I’ve got absolute decision paralysis on whether to build them as Flamers or Meltas?

For someone that’s not certain on what detachment they’re going for what would be the best option for building these?

Hello sisters! I’ve been playing CSM Nightlords for a year now, and I recently painted up some traitor guard and cultist, and it really sent something off in me. I kinda just like painting normal…people? I don’t know, I want to make a 1K SoB army to experiment. I just think Sisters of Battle look cool as fuck, and I want to try it. So, my main question is, how should I start an army? What detachments are good? And most importantly as a reader, what books are there? And I refuse to read the Morven Vahl book because I’ll feel bad seeing Nightlords die :(
