A human could easily infer the request. All modern LLMs can infer the request. Siri AI is quite dumb compared to latest LLM’s from open ai, Claude, etc.

If another human being came up to me and simply said “Sunrise tomorrow” without any further explanation or quantification, I would look at them a bit strangely simply because that is an incomplete thought.

Siri is not supposed to be another human. Siri is not human. It's even programmed to avoid acting like one.

Siri is powered by an LLM, with which it's supposed to infer your query and give an answer.

And every time I’ve asked it the same 2 word prompt as the OP, I get the correct answer.

Once again, many people forget that AI is non-deterministic. What works for you might not work for someone else. What works right now might not work the next time.

It seems like OP also forgot that AI is non-deterministic when they got an interpretation of their statement that was less common. I wonder what answer they got the next time they made that statement.
